Procom propane heater works fine until the fan comes on then it shuts down, works fine with fan running if the front cover is off ??? anything??

Sounds like when the cover is on it over heats. You need more air ventilation. Check for dirty filters or screen. Check whole machine. Not sure if that's the answer. Good luck.

Ventless wall heater shuts off during operation

Sounds like thermostat may have a battery going bad as to not supply sufficient power to turn on the relays. As safety procaution when a signal is weak or no longer detected the heater shuts down.

Can I turn the burner down low so it does not heat up too fast. The built in thermosat does not shut it down untill it gets 10 to 15 degrees abouve the setting.

If there is a flame adjustible control knob allowing you to do so, than yes. You should not cut back gas presure at a gas shut-off valve. Metering the gas in like this could possibly create C/O. from incomplete combustion and lack of primary air.

Heater will not stay lit on auto procom ml 300 blue flame

If you have an ML300HGA, it is a manual-control heater, which means you turn it on and you turn it off. No thermostat. It does not have an AUTO setting.

Likewise, the thermostat-controlled models do not have a Manual mode. If you have the ML300TBA, it has a thermostat and will turn itself on/off in order to maintain a room temperature.

On manual models, the numbers (if any) on the dial are heat output selections. Set the control to the highest heat setting and that's what it does until you turn it off.

On automatic thermostat models, the numbers on the dial are temperature selections. Set the control to the highest heat setting and the heater will continue running until it is 85-90 degrees, then shut off. Set it around 2 and it will maintain a temp of around 70 degrees.

All Procom heaters are either automatic (thermostat-controlled) or Manual. None are both.
