Hi!

One possebility is to use the tool "IsoBuster" (http://www.smart-projects.net/isobusterdownload.php).
Or mount the bin file (CD/DVD Image) with Daemon Tools (freeware).
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/home

I hope I could help.

Use a text editor (eg:- notepad, wordpad) to open that .bin files. Simply you can drag & drop that file to text editor programme.

How to Recover an Excel File for Free

1.Check the Recycle Bin--if you've accidentally deleted the file, it should still be there unless you've emptied the bin, and you can click on the file and recover it.

2.Use the Auto Recovery Pane when you open Excel. Review the document recovery pane. If Excel has managed to recover your file, it will show in a separate pane on the left-hand side. Identify your document in the pane, then click on it and choose "Open" to open the recovered file.

3.Try manually repairing the file. Click on "File" in Excel 2003 or the "Office" button in
Excel 2007, then select "Open" and click on the arrow next to the "Open" button. Click on
"Open and Repair" and choose from two options: click on "Repair" if you want to try to completely recover the file, or click on "Extract Data" if you previously tried Step 1 and it did not work.

4.Search for the file manually on your computer. When performing a system search (click "Start" and select "Search" in Windows XP and Windows 2000, or press the "Windows" button and "F" key in Windows 7 and Vista), make sure you choose "Advanced Search Options" and then check the "System and hidden files" check box. You may be able to find your missing or corrupted file using this search: double-click on the file name in the search results to open it.

After installing teh FULL PSC 1410 all in one printer the "solution center" software is not installed. With the same driver when I installed previously it was there but after i format my computer...

you can locate the solution center program in the folder

C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\Hpqdirec.exe

open an explorer window, paste C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin into the address bar, find Hpqdirec.exe, hold alt, click and then drag to the desktop.

Click on the newly created shortcut, press F2 then rename it to HP Solution Center.

I need the universal remote manual RM-230-E

OK, you can download the instructions from here - scroll to the bottom of the page that opens:

http://www.chunghop.com/en/products.asp?&act=seach&sort=0

Unfortunately, it's only available as a packed (.rar) file. You will need WinRAR or similar decompression software to open it.

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

The instructions are also available as a ZIP file from here:

http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/files/dl.cgi?file=others/chunghop/rm230e-manual.zip&area=other

Once you have downloaded either file, double-click on the file to unpack it.

If you have any problem, please post your email address and I will send you the files unpacked and ready to view.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks.

Trying to download a file

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my knowledge most (but not all) *.bin files are meant not to be directly opened by a user but be used by another program to update the firmware of a device. An example, the file 121208.bin is the BIOS version/file and a flashing software like AwardFlash.exe will use to update a motherboard.

In your particular case, I am venturing that the original file would be something like ...XYZ_V123_api_femu.zip which when you unzipped turned out to be ...XYZ_V123_api_femu.bin. This file would then have to be loaded to a device such as a satellite receiver or a cable decoder box. There is nothing a user can do to a *.bin file, rather, the user must point the flashing/updating program to where the *.bin file is stored. This can be accomplished by copying said file to a USB flash/thumbdrive that would be plugged into the USB port of the device (if it exists) or a known location/folder/directory into the computers HD.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
