you will have to shut down the unit and unplug the power cord from the pc:
(1) check and see if all of the connections are secure one of the ribbons from the board may have came loose or it may be loose on the harddrive its self
(2) check the cables and ribbons also to make sure that they are all in good working condition no cuts or broken or kinked wires
(3) power back up and see if you can hear the harddrive is spinning up. if not mayby the harddrive is bad

i had same problem and i started to worry but then i tried doing it in capitals and for some reason it worked have u tried doing it in capitals?

Unfortunely someone has put a boot password on the system. The only way to get rid of the password is to remove the CMOS Battery backup. This battery can be found inside the unit so opening it up is the only to get to it. It is a nickel sized battery. Turn on the unit while this battery is out of the unit, wait unitl u get wrong time message. then turn off the unit reinstall the battery and all passwords will be gone.
