I donot remambar password

Most default user credentials are - admin/admin.
If you are unable to log in, then most routers come with a reset key. For Zyxel NGB-417N router, press the reset key with a pin. hold on the pin till the device reboots.
Login with the default user id and password and setup the router.

I have a zyxel pk5001z router and when i try to connect a wireless device to it i get a message that tells me the password is incorrect. any suggestions

GENERAL ROUTERS RESETING 1-With the unit on, place a paper clip into the hole on the back of the unit labeled Reset.
2-Hold paper clip down for 10 seconds and release.
3-The unit will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the unit is reset.
Resetting the router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will change all settings back to factory defaults

My password is forgot how to change the password

This process will reset the password to the default BUT it will wipe out ALL settings.
With the router powered on:
Get a paperclip and straighten it.
Locate the pinhole at the back of the router.
Gently put the paperclip into the reset hole and keep it pressed for 5 seconds or more.

The router will reboot and the userid will be admin, password 1234

Zyxel NBG4115 disconnects quite often. Reboot of the router helps.

This kind of routers are, usualy, very sensitive to change in the flux of power. If you plug this router to a decent UPS should fix your problem.

I dont know ho to change the password on the PK5000Z Wireless Router

I just set up my new ZyXEL PK500Z, so happen to know this answer. In the ZyXEL Qwest Modem Configuration (launch 192.168.0.1), select Wireless Setup, then Wireless Security. Scroll down to Enter Security Key/Passphrase. Unless you changed this, Use Default is selected. If you want to use a password of your own creation, select Use Custom, then enter the password you want. Finish with Apply. Everything connected to your network will be prompted to re-enter the password. Is this what you were after?

Ever since we have put the fire wall in last week we have to keep rebooting the firewall to get internet connection.

Are all computers experiencing this problem?
Please do a hard reset with the router, then try again. If the same problem happens, reflash the firmware of the router.

Reset problem, router won't start again

If the powerlight flashes the entire time.. even after a hardreset, your router is probably only good for a brick....
