Re: Mouse Problem

Your system may be infected with viruses, so that it becomes busy running the virus, Try installing an antivirus.

Otherwise reinstall Windows.. if you can arrange a seperate mouse then connect it to the machine and see the mouse working well, replace the mouse.

My Logitech keyboard worked perfectly last week, but when I came back from my friend (I had my keyboard there, for the third time) it didn't work perfectly after 1 day, it started typing randomly but when...

When my logtch does that is usally is a stuck key. It can also be a low battery or the antenna is too close or too far away.

Most of the time its a stuck key. turn it upside down and knock on it like you are knocking on a door. that usually will jar the keey loose. you may be able to find the stuck key by pushing on them and see which one doesn;t pop back or feel right. Don;t try to pry it loose do the knock.

If the battery has just enough power left you can get some wired things happening but usually it just stops working.

Move the antenna so that it is about a foot away and is clear line of sigt from the keyboard to the antenna. You may want to reset or reconnect using the button on the antenna and the bottom of the keyboard.

9 out of 10 times its a stuck key.

Red light flashing on my Logitech mouse? Does battery need replacement?

It could also be a problem with the remote that connects to your PC as well for that mouse.

First replace the batteries and see if it goes away. If not then take out the remote for the mouse and plug it back in and let windows redetect it again.

If it still doesn't work then you know the mouse itself is bad.

To conserve your batteries, most of these mouse types have a "sleep mode". If it has, you need to press the scroll wheel or a side button to wake it up after being idle for a short time. Make sure your bluetooth receiver is not obscured by anything and perhaps re-pair it again to realign the frequency.

Cursor moves diagonally by its self.

I've had this a work a number of times and it is usually a case of replacing the keyboard of the laptop. Its usually the pointing stick in the middle of the keyboard thats interfearing with your usual mouse motions. You can disable this usually by going in to the keyboard settings in control panel and disablign it in "pointing devices" This would resolve the issue without the need to replace the keyboard.

Logitech S520 mouse and keyboard Screensaver and power shut down

Not a solution but it may bring some light to the problem,

There is some program calling windows every 10min or so... that's why your screen saver gets interrupted. You might need to check which program is it. Or guess it out.

Hope it helps, if you have more doubts feel free to ask.

Warning: receiver channel changed - wireless keyboard and mouse

I contacted Gaeway Support. They quickly answered and suggested that I change the batteries in my wireless mouse and/or keyboard. I did. It was the mouse. As soon as the new batteries were in, the popup went away and stayed away.
