Take the bottom panel off and there is a large drain under the drum. There will be a lot of water that comes out, so be prepared. When you take the drain off, there should be a debis trap in there. Clean this out look to make sure there are no socks or anything in there.

SOURCE: asko 10625 will not spin

it is probably the belt, take off the back of the machine and look at the black rubber belt that spins the cleaning drum. The belts break after about 5 years, you can get a replacement belt at you local Asko dealer, I recall that is was pretty easy to change, like doing a bike chain, Talk to you Asko dealer about how to change it.

My Asko W6021 won't start and the door won't open when buttons are pressed, although the power appears to be on (the red light comes on after power button has been pressed)..

Open the drain hatch at the bottom left of the machine. Open drain pump and check to make sure tat there are no foreign objects in drain pump. Object in the drain pump will prevent the unit from operating properly. If there is water still in the unit, you can use the drain hose to drain the washing machine. If you would like to open the door manually, disconnect power, remove screws holding red plastic handle in place. pull handle.

Washing machine fills with water when not in use.

Either your pressure in the main line bringing water to your machine is insufficient; or your intake water valve is defective; which you can replace easily.

Asko 10505 runs through was cycle in approx. 30 seconds, then wont drain. Simply stops. It doesnt matter which cycle I start with, the dial moves quickly to stop. It fill with water and spins. ANY HELP...

hi sir' start the wash machine empty and see if it happens when nothing is in it.
2. When machine is off, open the top grab the centerpiece inside the wash machine and pull and push it slowly, does it move? (For safety unplug the machine)
3. Make sure machine is 100% level (front to back, left to right)

The most common thing is bad drum bearing, which force the wash machine out of whack when in spin / wash. Which are common and the best thing is to call Maytag.

thank u .........................................please rate

Try to Open the safety compartment using a screwdriver under the wash machine in the front.
Then open the big white knodb this will cause the wate to drain out which is fine.
Then clean this out. Usually you will find coins and stuff here from years of operations from pockets. clear these out and your problem maybe fixed. worked for us

does it keep draining on any cycle and with the door open if so have you done anything with the pressure switch or the pressure sensor(red and black) it sits behind the pressure switch you may have to replace them.also check the board for any burn marks,i think you said you replaced it last time?if you have pressed down on the top of the pressure sensor you will have to replace it.am able to give you my mobile no or not.not sure how this site works.Ian

Machine wont drain and the door wont open

The solution worked thank you, drained machine and cleaned out trap as per chapter 10 of user manual and all working fine now. Note: ensure to check up the inlet line in the trap with your finger as there could be some items in there, also check fan/prop to ensure it turns freely. Was amazed of what I found in the trap see picture below, pays to check pockets prior to washing.
