Question about Interactive Health Ijoy 130 Human Touch Robotic Massage Chair Recliner Black

I have a interactive health massage chair model ems-9-s. when you turn the power switch on the back rollers run for 10 seconds or so and it stops. The power light is on in the controller but nothing will work. I took the back off and there was padding wrapped around the wheels. There were blown fuses on a small circuit board. I installed bypasses and still have the same problem?

Hope it is still under warranty. Need new board and possibly more. My parents bought a similar chair and it failed with many issues to fix. Tech replaced all the electronics. Good luck.

We found a repairman!!
Our 10 yr old EMS-9 Interactive Health chair just stopped working about 6 mos ago. After getting no help at all from Interactive Health, except to buy a new chair (!), we finally found a man who fixed it. It was a pinched wire in the remote. A simple fix. He tried to charge us only $20.00! (We gave him much more, it was worth it) We love this chair! You would think that the company would be more forthcoming with repair options if they want people to recommend their products. Anyway, hope this helps someone else too. Repair of air med 8000


Air Med Deluxe 8000 back fabric ripped by rollers. Need to know how to repair. Think the back just slips up and new one slips over. Cant find repair shop nearby Fresno CA.

I have a htt 9c chair. it was working yesterday. I went to use it today and it would not turn on. it has no power and circuit is fine. please help


First, check the power with a volt meter on the receptacle you are plugged into. (or plug a lamp into the receptacle and make sure it turns on. believe it or notI have seen this many times) If power is fine, then remove the back of the chair (with the cord unplugged) and stabilize the back of the chair as the wires hang from the back of the chair to the chair itself. Plug back in your chair and check power to the on/off switch on the back of the chair, if you have power there then it gets a little more complicated. Again, unplug the chair, remove the black plastic cover on the lower left of the chair that covers the main circuit board. You should see a soldered in fuse, use an ohm meter and check the fuse for continuity. If it reads good or "shorted" then you are past my knowledge in this matter. Hope I could be of some assistance.

I have an HTT-10i-crp robotic massage chair pp although power is showing going to the chair -- it stopped working. Any ideas?


Have you checked to see if the main on/off switch on the back of the chair got pushed to the off position by accident? It's near the bottom of the back of the chair.

I have a HTT-9CB Massage chair that needs a circuit board, (just stoppped running) blown fuse on circuit boar and what appears to be a resitor is burned. In short does anyone know where I can get a circuit...


Test the resistor for continuity if it has a continuity readind with the power off then it is bad, you can get the replacement parts at radio shack and change the fuse and the resistor out with a soldering gun.

You should check the size of the fuse . It may be to low a watt. try a stronger fuse.

Not getting any power to chair


Make sure there is power at the outlet. Check the fuse panel. If there is still no power then check to make sure there is no GFI (ground fault interupt) switch on the chair itself. The GFI is a 2 button switch that will say "Reset" and "Test"
