The blinking indicates that the drum unit is near the end of it's life. It will shut down soon and you will lose the ability to print until it is changed or reset.
To reset the drum counter. Press and hold down the white button (shown as blue in the image below) for about 4 seconds until all the LEDs light up. Once all 4 LEDs are lit, release the button.
If printer is blinking all the LEDs then try to turn off the power switch, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on and try to print again. If all the LEDs are still blinking, press Go and Job Cancel buttons together and let me know what LEDs stay on.
The HL-2070N gets stuck in a toner end-of-life error condition. Perform the following to clear :
With paper loaded, new toner in,
Open front door

While holding down the GO button, turn printer back on
When all four LEDs light up release GO button. All LEDs will turn off
Press the GO button 2 times. The 3 LEDs (toner, drum, paper) will light up solid
Press the GO button 5 times
Paper light will be blinking
At this point the toner end-of-life condition has been reset. Close front door.
BTW, I got this from Brother Support. Also, just a reminder, timing is important here so don't pause between button presses.
Turn it on and when all the LEDs light up, THEN press the Go button. One or more LEDs will stay lit and the others will be off. Look in the user manual (you can find it online at the Brothers site if you don't have one). There is a chart in the Troubleshooting section that will tell you what problem your particluar combination of "lit" buttons indicates. It may suggest fixes, or depending on the problem, tell you to see a repair person.
