Dell cd drive door won't open

CD/DVD Drive Tray problems
There are two ways to open the CD/DVD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.
Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject.
If this does not work then you can manually open the CD/DVD drive tray by -
Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drive tray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive tray pops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CD/DVD disc.
If you still having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and needs replacing.

I have a burned CD in the CD drawer and I can't retreive it, I can't find the button to open the door. Somewhere there is a button" OPEN DOOR" but I can't locate it.

WE CAN'T OPEN THE CD DRIVE ON OUR COMPUTER

I do not know the particulars of the eMac, but most CD drives have a little hole in which to insert a needle, in order to open the door manually, and extract the stuck CD. Look for it in the area surrounding the retracting door. Some units dont have doors, and inserting a pin will also force the disk right out.

Cd rom door wont open

Do you see blinking light on your CD Drive. If not, you may need to check you power supply to CD Drive.
If yes, may be door looks jam, opening up once may remove any dust to smooth it out again. To open up there is small pin hole on cd drive, generally on the right side, use needle and press it through the pin hole, it will eject the CD Door and you can pull it out completely.

Cd rom drive door

Best guess is that a small plastic catch broke. My cousin has similar doors on his CD trays. I personally would take the doors off. As far as repair, again best guess without seeing it, is that you'll need a new door panel.

My CD Drive Is Not Opening & Not Showing To The My Computer =(

if when you push the button its led flash but not opening, turn off your computer and open its door by a needle enter and push it in the ole in center of its panel under the door. whon the door open a little use your hand and open it. if the this not solve the problem there is a hardware problem :( But if the drive dosent work at all (even the led light) maybe it's the power, then open th case left door and check th power cable... I hope this helps...
