Blower motor resistor located on 2004 buick century


Does your Buick have manual or automatic cilmate control ? Could have a blower motor control module or processor ! It , if it had a resistor it would be near the blower motor . It's located under the dash below the glove box . To get at it you need to remove the panel under the dash . Video on youtube showing how to test blower motor electrical circuit .

under the dash passenger side , you have to get upside down, be sure the squirrel cage is the same depth on the new piece as one to deep will bind up and could burn up the motor befor you figure out why it is not turning

this is under the glove box area-you'll need to take it out to get to it and you probably need to got upside down to get at it-also there is a part called blower motor resistor that is down there that I would also replace- cheers Denny

blower resistor is common to burn causeing smell. check with dealer, there may be a campain on this problem. if not. replace resistor and harness (pig tail) and blower motor..

Will blower/fan motor from 1995 century fit into a 1997 parkavenue


the chances of this is slim I checked the Part numbers of the 2 motors and they are different possibly the plastic fans attach differently, and can cause problems with the depth or width the mounting holes may not even match up ...sorry I dont have better news..97 park ave motor GM part # 88960339 and AC delco # 15-8959 And the 95 century numbers are GM #52498870 AC delco # 15-8535 Hope these help...

Blower motor stays running


by now u figured out that you pull the 30amp fuse from the panel on passanger door size of dash
the lower blower motor operates on another 15amp fuse
