Question about Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray Player
I've used netflix off my sony player before but now I moved my tv and player to another room and I can't even get the netflix icon to show under the video tab on the home page. Why is this? How do I fix it?
There are a few reasons to lose the Netflix icon. It could be a network connection failure or a problem with Netflix seeing the device as already in use.
Are you using a wired network connection or the wireless connection? For either, if you press the Home button on your remote and navigate to Settings and then Network Settings, you can check the network strength, if the device can find the network at all. If the wireless signal strength is low, you may have moved your device out of the range of the wi-fi signal. You will need a signal repeater (wi-fi extender) or to move your devices/router to improve the signal strength. For a wired network connection, try replacing the cables. If your cables run through walls, a long ethernet cable to the router may let you check if the port works. (This will depend on the length of your run to the router.)
Often when unplugged, my devices lose the information about the wireless router. If no network is found, try resetting your connection. You will need the router ID, password and encryption type.
If you are connected to the network and the problem persists, use a computer to log into Netflix. Then disconnect the Blu-ray player from your account. (Click on Your Account and Help > Settings and then Manage Devices and Computers. Select Disconnect Devices and then disconnect that device. It may take 24 hours before the command is processed.) Then Refresh Internet Video on the Blu-ray player.
You may also want to try unplugging your router and cable or DSL modem to cycle those parts of your network.
I hope this helps.

SOURCE: bdp s350 sony bluray player.
I would just like to add that I have a Sony BDP-S500 player and a Sony TV.
The Sony TV's remote was preprogrammed to control the Bluray player, which i discovered by accident, so I didn't have to mess with universal remote control codes or anything.
Hope that helps.

We had this very same problem and all we did was upgrade our standard, generic HDMI cable to a Monster brand "higher def" cable, and all was right with the world. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Sony bluray BDP-S350 and Netflix
I'm sorry to inform you that the Blu-ray player does not feature streaming videos from Netflix. However, the player has BD-Live feature. YOu can view the bonus contents in the Blu-ray disc if you configure network with the Player.
Thanks for understanding
