You did not post the model number but if this is the top load model, pull it away from the wall and see if the back of the machine that has a galvanized cover, is dented. If the machine walked and thumped because of being off balance, the internal sensors may be contacting the cover.

hold your power and volume up at the same time when it comes on release power button wait 5 sec release volume button you will see sevral ways to restart i had to clear data and ues factory restart just follow promts worked for me

UE is Imbalance error..Redistribute the load or you may have tried to wash something which will not 'spread' enough to balance the load...Nomess

What Brand? - If you can prove it was not ue to being dropped etc then the warranty should usually cover it.
