Re: sunna 3000TL inverter , red led light flashing ,
Unplug the inverter, and have the outlet tested. After being unplugged for a while, the inverter should reset when it is plugged into a grounded outlet.

I assume "pilot light" is the standby light you're referring to. On most Funai brands including RCA, a continual flash of the standy light indicates inverter shutdown, pointing to bad LED backlights, new ones can be ordered from shopjimmy.com and you can install them yourself, no special tools are needed, however watch a couple youtube vids to see some tips on how to do it.
Hi Jimbo, generally this issue is from defective LED lamps, the inverter is shutting down because of over current because of shorted LED's. All the main board knows (the board that issues the error codes) is the inverter shut down, it has no way of knowing why.
It is most likely the low voltage alarm. Suggest connecting when the car is running with no load (110 volts not connected). If the alarm continues turn the unit off and on to reset.
Hope this helps?
Inverter Protection Features
• Short Circuit Protection. The inverter will automatically shut down until short is removed.
• Low Voltage Alarm. An alarm will sound when the voltage from the battery discharges to 10.5 +/- 0.5 volts DC. This is an indication that the battery needs to be recharged.
• Over Voltage Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input exceeds 16.5 +/- 1 volt DC.
• Under Voltage Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input is less than 10.0 +/- 0.5 volts DC.
• Overload Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the continuous draw of the equipment being operated exceeds 1200 watts or the surge draw of the equipment exceeds 2400 watts.
• Thermal Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the circuit temperature exceeds 150° F
I believe you need to switch polarity of these lights. Connect the red wire to ground and the ground wires to the functions you need. Yes, try it, some of these bulbs work on electron theory and so positive and negative are reversed.
Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

It sounds that the back-light inverter has the fault. If there is any winding short [cannot detected by measuring with an Ohmmeter], this type of fault can occur. The only thing to do is replace the back-light inverter board. The LED blinks indicates a short circuit .
First of all thank you for posting your question here at Fixya. I've suspected that the fault is not the cable reception, hook up, but inside the set. To confirm it, check if the symptoms remain the same no matter what the input is (DVD/BD player, game console, direct TV, etc.). If the problem still persist, then the fault is either the inverter board or the backlight of the TV.
Backlights are the one generating the brightness backround of LCD to see the images generated at the LCD panel. It has a high voltage source that will light it up and that is the inverter board. If one of the backlights fail, it will produce overload to the high voltage transformer of the inverter board and will sensed by the feedback circuitry and will automatically shuts off the power supply of the inverter board to avoid further damaged. Same when the inverter board gone to malfunction, the feecback circuitry will automatically shut off its power supply. The backlights and the inverter board must be checked to isolate where the fault came from. Most of the faulty backlight has a physical indication of fault like blacked end, and can be easily identify through visual inspection. If the backlights are in good condition, then the fault is the inverter board. Ebay.com and shopjimmy.com is a reliable supplier of parts, check your model no. at the rear panel and then search it to their search engine and all available parts will be displays.
Also, I would advice you to double check if your unit is under warranty period (1 year), if so, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the rear panel will void the warranty.
Please let me know if you need further assistance. Hope I gave you an idea what's going wrong to your unit.
Have a nice day! Good luck and take care! Kind Regards, Jdvillanueva
Hi,
4 blinks indicated of backlight malfunction. The unit shutsdown to avoid overload to the inverter board.
Check the backlights, busted backlight has a physical indication of fault like blackened end, crack end. You must replaced the busted one and your unit will back to normal operation again.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

My mge 1500 ups is indicating fault behind with an

my mge 1500 ups is indicating fault behind with an led

The Site Wiring Fault LED will indicate three status:
• Led On: The site wiring fault function is enabled and a site wiring fault is present.
• Led Off: The site wiring fault function is disabled.
• Led Flash: The Site wiring fault function is enabled and there is no site wiring fault.
When the input power is normal the Site wiring fault LED will flash.
• To disable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button
for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.
• To enable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button
for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.
Is the wiring fault light indicator lit? This means that the outlet that the unit is
connected to is either not properly grounded, or has reversed wiring.
First, try connecting the unit to another outlet. If the unit does not display the wiring fault light
in the new outlet you will need to have an electrician correct the
problem with the other faulty outlet. If it still displays the wiring fault more troubleshooting will be necessary to determine the cause
