Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Charge time cobra 235 recharge batteries

Hi! I've got a different cobra model and I find it ridiculous, but there is no indication when the batteries are fully charged... Either use external charger for your batteries or just leave it plugged in overnight- that would ensure full charge (it does in my case, I've checked batteries with multimeter)

One will not charge How to change batteries

There's a small half-round clip at the bottom, open that, then you are able to lift the battery cover and swap batteries.

Cobra Micro Talk PR4750WX.New rechargable batteries will not charge in provided charging cradle.

The original Sanik batteries have a negative side with about ten mm of metal showing on the side. Trim the plastic off your new batteries to match and the cradle charges again.

Cobra pr 3850wx bought new NiMh 800mAh 1.2v rechargable batteries now the base charger lights won't come on when i put the radios in it

  • A Cobra 3850wx Radio requires 4x600mAh NiMH 1.2V AAA Part # GA-3ANH rechargeable batteries.
  • Not just any AAA rechargeable battery will charge in the unit.
  • All will work in the radio but not all will charge inside the radio. It has to be a specific battery.
  • This is an example of what you need. GA-3ANH batteries which will charge inside your radio. http://www.tomsawyer2wayradios.com/catalog/item/3823249/5076887.htm

Batteries won't charge on new cobra 2VP 270 radios

If radios are brand new then I would take them back to the store for warranty exchange. The other opton is to vist a local radio service center and ask the tech to jump the battery. if the battery falls below a certain voltage it might need a quick jump sart from a power supply with a higher voltage normally 12 volts works well...
