There should be a second screw still in place. If this is so, remove it and take it to the local hardware store for a match. Otherwise, if you can tell me the manufacturer and model, i may be able to locate a source for OEM parts. Hope this helps a little:)

Hi my mothercare spin pram has decided its not going to spin, any suggestions on how I can fix it please? x

The mothercare spin had a lot of problems so mothercare took them off the market and fixed the problems and then released as the orb, as the name spin had got such a bad reputation. Might be worth popping in to mothercare to see what they say but imagine it was bought too long ago for them to offer help. Worth a try though

Kenmore washer (110.92389200) drains, but will not agitate or spin; also, cannot turn the basket by hand. Where is the access for service?

check the motor coupling, take out the two screws that hold down the top console, flip up the console, unplug the lid switch harness in the middle or a little to the right from the middle and with a screw driver pop the two metal clips, tilt the frame to you and remove the whole frame of the washer.with a screw driver pop the two clips holding the pump on and slide the pump forward off the motor.take out the two screws and pop the motor clips and pull the motor forward, you'll see the motor coupling, there should be three arms coming off the coupling and three arms on the other part of coupling and a piece of rubber that they slide into,if it's cracked or worn in the middle replace the coupling and cut down on the size of the loads you put into washer.when putting the motor back on look at the four corners of the motor,if any of the rubber spacers are missing look where the motor goes and take the rubber spacers off the frame and stick them in the four corners of the motor and then line the motor up and install it,it's to hard to get the motor back if you don't do this.good luck and let me know what you find,if you need any more help let me know

i am assuming this is a top load. if so place a screw driver in the lid switch button, turn dail to spin and while holding the spin basket in place turn on. is it very easy to hold basket from spinnihg? if so you may have a slipping clutch. to replace, remove washer body by removing 2 screws from timer console. they may be in front or behind. remove body clips located under timer console and lift off body. next remove agitator. next remove 3 , 1/2 inch bolts at bottom of transmission. slide out. clucth is right there on top side of transmisson. part # 285785
can be purchased at

Model 23832 Spin cycle doesn't spin

I believe this is the direct drive model. Your clutch is slipping. There is a quick easy fix available that I have used in the past. Remove cabinet from washer. Make sure you know the easy way to do this... 2 screws on top back of washer and 2 holding control panel. cabinet tips toward from of unit and off. Real easy... Remove wire harness from motor under basket. Remove 3 screws holding motor to basket. Remove agitator inside basket. 1 screw holds it in place. Remove entire motor and shaft from unit. Clutch is attached to shaft on top of motor. Pinch spring to remove clean everything with alcohol. Insert #10 washer between cup and spring to give a little more tension. Replace and viola.... all should work well.

Washher does not agitate or spin but does drain

HI, if the motor is running and it still will not agitate or spin, here is the most common and probable problem and solution.
Normal 0 Removing the cabinet. UNPLUG the washer. There are two screws holding the control panel to the cabinet. Most models the screw are in front but, some models have the screws in back. They are on each end. Now raise the control panel up and let it rest on the hinges. Unplug the lid switch harness and locate the clips on each side (bronze in color) and release them.
Now the cabinet will lift off the frame and you can set it aside.

How to replace a coupler:
Now that the cabinet is out of the way, remove the pump from the motor and set the pump off to the side. Remove the two screws holding the clips on the motor and remove the clips. Unplug the motor harness and on some models you wil need to unplug the capacitor.
Now you will need to replace all three parts to the coupler. I use a ½” socket and a small hammer to force the coupler onto the motor and transmission shafts. Put the rubber part onto the coupler half on the transmission and then line up the post on the motor shaft with the holes on the rubber part and it should go on ok. Put the clips that hold the motor in place and plug in the harnesses.
Put the pump back on and the clips to hold it in place. Set the cabinet back on the frame. Make sure the lip on the front cabinet is under the front rail of the frame. Ease the cabinet on the frame making sure the two rear sides of the cabinet set down on the tabs of the frame.
Put the two clips back on that hold the cabinet and plug the lid switch back in. Fasten the control panel down and you are all set.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
