SOURCE: need help to hook up my nintendo retro duo to t.v.

In the cords & cables that came with your system, there should be one cable that has a place for cable ready tv and one for non cable ready tv. The non cable ready looks like the 2 wires that run from a tv antenna. If you have a cable ready tv you just use the screw on part like on a vcr. Also on the back of most newer tvs you will find what they call rca type plug ins. You can use them to connect it also. They are simple just follow the color codes such as white to white and so forth. There should have been an instruction sheet to show you this. I have noticed that depending on when it was built/shipped they have some that are shipping with the rca cables. If your tv is an older one and doesn't have the rca jacks in the back of it you have 2 choices that I can think of well maybe 3.You can upgrade the tv or you can buy a box designed to convert the older tvs to use the rca jacks or and most likely the simplest plug the rca cables into the back of a vcr.The last suggestion will not require the vcr to be turned on. It will work on a simple pass through. The vcr will work as normal with all other functions it has and it gives you the option of recording you playing the game so you can prove the levels you made and also show you mistakes you made in losing the game. I hope this helps I tried to keep it as simple as I could for all to understand. So please don't think I was trying to talk down to or above the head of anyone.

My nintendo 64 game pack will not fit into the slot of the retoduo

YOU CAN NOT PUT NINTENDO 64 GAMES INTO SNES or NES SLOTS. The retro duo is snes (super nintendo entertainment system) and nes (nintendo entertainment system) only there is not spot for the nintendo 64.

How do I hook up the Retro Duo nes/snes system to an older tv that has no a/v connections. I do have a Direct tv cable box but when I hooked the a/v cables to it absolutely nothing happened

Do you have a VCR that can hook to the TV that has the proper hook ups for your game system? Be sure your TV is on proper channel for your VCR to work (test it with a VCR tape and see if it plays) then change your channel on your vcr until it shows your game you have in your system hope that helps good luck

How to hook up a retro duo to a Sony aquos

The duo connects to your TV via standard composite video out or s-video out. It depends on which model Aquos you have, but if there is not direct input you can buy adapters to change composite or s-video into something that will hook into any TV. Short answer: buy an adapter at Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, NewEgg, Amazon, etc

My problem is i pu the snes games into my retro duo system and i get black lines no game is there anyway this can be fixed

Is that an issue with all of your games or just a select few?

If the answer is a few then you may have to clean the game ends. If you have Windex and a Q-tip, just apply a spray of the Windex to the Q-tip.. Then clean the connectors of the games that your having issues with.

Games won't load - any sites taking in units and selling rebuilt?

Your best bet is to get a new system, but go with either the FC Twin or Retro Duo systems - they play both NES and SNES games problem free (with very few exceptions).  I personally recommend the Retro Duo.

As far as trading in goes, can't help you there. But once you trade it in you can't go wrong with the RD.
