My washing machine siemens has developed e 57 error code how can i recover that

Hi Evans,

E57 is a door lock fault. Now either the door lock itself or the control board will cause this fault.

What you need to do is open the little filter cover in the bottom right corner and there is a pull tab.
Pull this and that should release the door and allow you to open it.
Then retry the washer again and see if the fault has cleared.
If not then remove the top of the washer and remove the control board. From there check to see if theres any signs of burning on there. If so then the board will need to be replaced.
If the board looks ok then you can try and replace the door lock and see if it cures it. But if still after replacing the lock its the same then the control board will be the fault here.

Error code F63 for Siemens 14.46? - Siemens WFXD5200UC Front Load Washer

This error indicates a fatal error with the control board. A replacement board for the WFXD5200UC is available here: .

Before you replace the board, you may be able to reset the error code. Start with the washer off (the knob will be at the 12 o'clock position) and the door closed. Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position and wait 2 seconds. Press and hold the spin button while you turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position. Wait another 2 seconds and release the spin button. Turn the knob to off. You may need to repeat this up to 6 times. If the error continues to appear, the board is faulty.

If the washer is under warranty, contact Siemens. I hope this helps.

Wait for cycle to fi?ish, plus another minute or so. Then activate door release. If this fails I suggest that you have the machine looked at by a technician.

How to unlock siemens wd12d520/01

unplugging the appliance for 10-15 minutes should automatically release the door unless the appliance is still full of water. If it is then this needs to be drained out manually by lowering the waste hose into a bucket until the water level is below the door seal
