SOURCE: With filter set on

Your question was posted under "Pond and Water Garden Pumps", but I assume you are really asking about a swimming pool filter. Unscrew the control valve from the valve body and check the condition of the O-ring. If it is nicked, torn, or worn allowing water to flow past the valve, buy a replacement at your local hardware store or swimming pool supply. Pop the old one off, and put the new one in the track where the old one was. If it doesn't want to stretch to fit, put the new seal in HOT water for a few minutes and try again. Lubricating the O-ring with some Vaseline or other brand petroleum jelly will make operating the valve easier and cut down on wear of the new seal.

SOURCE: No water coming out when I backwash. I cleaned

water level must be about the discharge (eyeball) in the pool to back wash. Check the hose connections to make sure that hoses off the the filer head are going to the right place Look for the words "Pump" , "pool" and "waste" molded into the valve. I've seen it a number of times where "Pump" and "pool" were connected the wrong way.

Water diagnose light blinking 0n cm3 scotsman ice machine even after changing water level sensor

Is the sump tray full of water? or is it not filling up fast enough? Water level sensor lets control board it needs water or its full of water. If machine is not getting enough water or slow filling then check the water filter, if water is flowing good through filter good then pull water line off of the water inlet valve to make sure there is no trash blocking water at inlet. If not then make sure the water solenoid is getting power call from board to solenoid, if getting 115v to coil and slow to no water to sump then replace valve, if no power to valve then replace board.

Low flow message on balboa 500z system

The low flow message on any Balboa means that you are having an issue with the flow of water through your heating unit. This can be caused by a few things.

  • Low water levels
  • Dirty filters
  • Something is impeding your water flow
Top up your water level and make sure it is where it needs to be, clean your filters or replace them, and check that nothing is impeding your water flow at the skimmer or water intakes.

Here is a link to water flow issues.

Our pool is green, the water seems to be bypassing the filter cartridges. Trying to figure our what could be broken to get this working properly again?

You may have a broken manifold. That's the part at the bottom of the tank where the filters set down on.With the filters out and the tank empty, fill the manifold with water. The water should stay put indefinitely. I the water level drops, you need to replace the manifold because even if the crack looks small. under working pressure in will open up and allow most of the water to bypass the filters altogether.

Where is the water filter and how do i change it

Filter should be located on the bak of the fridge or in the back of the fridge. My guess is that it's the water fill solonoid that isn't working or the ice level control is thinking the bin is full. I would look for the ice level sensor and give it a cleaning or replace it

Dishwasher does not clean dishes, water level sems to be low are there filters that can be cleaned as i am on a well

There may be a screen filter in the end of the hose where the water supply is connected to the water inlet valve. Turn the water off and disconnect it to clean it out.

The water level can be affected by the overflow float switch. It is in the bottom of the tub and as the water level rises it floats the switch till it shuts the water off. Pushing it down should let the water come in more. It may need cleaning.

What does it mean when F 14 is displayed in the window?

F14 - "level/pressure switch failure." The level switch monitors the dishwasher's water pressure, as it circulates, which is especially critical, during the heating cycle (main wash). Level switch failure can commonly happen from poor circulation, or from the defective level switch, itself. The most common reason for poor circulation is low water fill level. In other words, during the water intake cycle, insufficient water came into the dishwasher. Observe if enough water did come into the dishwasher, Check the water level, by using the filter's handle (located on the floor, of the inside of the dishwasher) as a reference point. At the end of the water fill stage, the water level should be just underneath the filter's handle. If the water level is more than half an inch, below the filter's handle... then that could be a problem. The sympton would be a noisy, sluggish, whooshing sound of water, during circulation - It wouldn't be the same old quiet Miele dishwasher you knew.

If you have the low water fill problem, then look at the dishwasher's water intake hose. Miele call this their Waterproof System hose (WPS). It's a water hose with an integrated electric valve. First, shut your water valve that connects to this WPS; disconnect the WPS from your valve; look inside the end of the WPS. With a needle nose plier, remove the rubber seal, filter and the water restrictor; clean them of any possible debris; put all the parts back into the WPS, securely; reconnect the hose; open your water valve; and test the dishwasher. If the problem persists, then the WPS will need to be replaced (WPS~$170).

Other causes for F14, can be weak circulation from foreign item(s) (plastic wrapping, broken glass, etc,...) lodged inside circulation pump impeller, or no circulation, at all (circulation pump stuck). Of couse, the defective level switch, itself, can cause the F14, too. The least common causes for the F14 can be broken wires to and from, level switch and electronic unit, and a defective electronic unit.

Dishwasher; Diplomat 8322. Set it to wash on any temperature but after a minute it defaults to rinse and bleeps constantly

Apparently there is a sensor above the normal water level where it drains. The water level rises above the sensor if the filter is full of gunge and the water cannot drain properly. The sensor is activated and stops the cycle. You have to remove the filter mesh, clean it, drain out the excess water (I did this with a turkey baster!) and replace the filter. Then everything works again!

Water level alarm

1 - Depends on the type - - Some 'liquid' detectors work on the basis of a 'sperical' cover over the optical sensor - This magnifies the displacement of light (Index of Refraction) suggesting that liquid is in the way, therefore alarming. Some simplistic types are straight forward carbon resistive tracs that detect 'levels' of water, and alarm or light up accordingly (1/2 full gives certain lights etc...)
2 - Don't know what components your using to begin with - so really can't answer this one ...
3 - Some plants 'MUST' have certain amounts of water, and must not go dry...I have a shower room, and can not allow the filter to get blocked, otherwise I get flooded . . A fish tank may need a mechanical systen to keep it filled (you could use a low level voltage detector to advise of low water level) - - Endless applications.
Please rate this comment - Kind Regards

Water stuck in th machine like what you said is not normal.First you need to drain the water by taking out the hose behind the machine which is into the wall. Plug off first before these jobs. Bring the hose to ground level, the water will run off. Bucket or whatever to collect. Re-fit pipe to correct level in standpipe carefully, without pushing in too deep. The pipe level is important; you can check, there is a water level mark behind machine. You need to clean out your outlet filter;(which is accessible thru the front bottom right side of machine, small push door, or plastic screw) this needs to be done periodically - according to your usage. If this does not solve your problem check out your outlet pump. Plug off the wall first before you do the jobs. The machine will not drain water if the outlet is clogged. For the pump, tubes, etc you hav to open up behind the machine. Be prepared for water to come flowing out.......
And don't forget to rate me pl, if the solution has worked......
