I took out my and memory card and put it back> the phone needs my password and I cannot remember it, how do I reset without using my current information
Hi,follow this steps and u will ve a chance to reset your BlackBerry id, in the login page click forget password, this will take you to a new page that you will fill in some nessassery information and some guidelines that will help you create a new password. Don't be afraid to answer some of those questions they just want to be sure that you're the real owner of this account.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

There isn't a way to disable the password of the BlackBerry device without actually knowing the password. Sorry. What will happen is if you enter the incorrect password 10 times the device will wipe itself, and clear the password. Of course, all data will be lost unless you have a backup of it.

regarding your problem, i think you must try to reformat your card using your new phone (blackberry bold 9000) for you to be able to use that card in the said phone.
just let me know if you need more further assistance.
