Don't understand outdoor self diagnosis code

Hi everyone My lg a4uw306fa0 compressor doesn't start.Fans are ok,i can see them turning, i can hear the little music with my indoor unit but the compressor doesn't start. On the pcb of the outside unit, indoor units all off, the green light is on (no blinking) and the red light is on and then blinking twice (very very fast, i made a video to be sure it's twice and not three times). I check all error codes in the service manual, but this one is not listed. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance

This sounds like a fault with the inverter or the compressor motor itself,

Understanding Air Conditioner Electrical problems is not as hard as you can make...

Air Conditioners are broken down into two electrical systems, though they work together1. Low voltage control unit 24-28 volt control unit like thermostat and other switches and relays( also feeds compressor contactor, reversing valve, and defrost board on heat pumps)on the outdoor condensing unit .When there is no power to the thermostat,it cannot turn on the indoor fan or any other load (indoor or outdoor). In this case, first confirm there is power available (closed breaker, closed disconnect) If you have power the fan on manual switch on the thermostat should be able to turn on the indoor fan.If it doesn't, then your control voltage is most likely lost. check the transformer and 3 amp fuse in the air handler .2.The high voltage components are your compressor and your fans, both indoors and outdoors.High voltage 240 volt loads are controlled by the 24-28 volt control voltage.3. Remember, a thermostat is just a big on/off switch.4.Be careful and always play it safe when working around energized circuits5. Leave it to the pros, especially if you're inexperienced or nervous about electricity

Hi , have just acquired a 6yr old LG GR-332SF fridge , has a major power issue . Trips circuit breaker when turned on . Looks ok , checked wiring , though removed defrost timer and saw faint blackening on...

Most likely the compressor is drawing excessive load current. It is about the only part inside the unit that can do so. Of course, you may have some shorted wiring inside somewhere. An electrical diagnosis would reveal the cause quickly. Find someone who can use a multimeter with skill.

LG Fridge LSC26945TT compressor getting to hot and not cooling

if it's not cooling unplug it so you don't damage the compressor, hopefully you just have a bad overload and relay,it's plugged into the side of the compressor, with the machine unplugged remove the bottom back panel, look at the compressor, remove the cover on the side of compressor and remove the start device or ptc assy. call your local parts store and give them the model number and buy a new start device for your machine.if you can hear a clicking sound every once and a while and the compressor is hot change this out first,if it still doesn't start then you have a bad compressor and will be in the market for a new fridge if the compressor is running take everything out of the freezer, remove the back inside wall of the freezer and check the evap coil,if the coil is all iced up you have a defrost problem,if the evap coil doesn't have an even frost pattern covering the whole coil you have a freon leak.if you have a freon leak you'll have to replace the fridge..hope this helps

My Amana AAC101SRA doesn't cool like it used to. We have cleaned the filter, but that doesn't seem to help. Should we call a repairman or think about getting another unit?

Is the outdoor coil blocked? Is the outdoor coil clean? Is the compressor running when you start unit. When you turn unit off after running it can you hear a hissing sound from within?

Fan motor will not come on unless it is connected to the battery

motor fan motors are connected in line to a heat sensor, they only come on when that sensor says its ok to do so,, check the sensor , giving it a direct 12 volts is by passing that sensor

When switched on it runs for few minutes and then switch and displays error code E3

Hi Perhaps after you switch the AC on all that is running in the first few minutes is the indoor fan. Be aware that all AC's have a start delay on the compressor as a protection device for when the operator is having a little fiddle with the controls. The delay is usually 3 to 4 minutes and occurs every time the compressor is stopped and goes to restart. The error code probably occurs when the outdoor unit goes to fire up. The problem may be a number of things. I assume that you dont have a list of fault codes, so here are a few things to look for. 1) Is the unit 3 phase? If so make sure you have all phases supplied. If that is OK check the outdoor fan operation and capacitors. 2) If the system is single phase, again check the operation of all fans and capacitors, 3) If they are ok check that the compressor actually runs. It may only hum but not spin up.. If it only hums, the capacitors may be crook or compessor jammed. If the compressor seems to be dead, ie: no response, no humming, no turning. I guess it will cost you, so call a serviceman. Again much depends on the type and model and the problems may be simple or extensive, If you are not trade qualified or experienced keeping your little fingers out of the thingo would be a real good move. However a good pair of ears can tell you much. Good luck
