Question about Dishwashers
My Miele 595 is at least 10 years old. The water intake light goes on as the machine shuts doen during operation. I've had Miele technicians out and they replaced a part and a relay and it worked for a few days. In consultation w/tech support at Miele, they believe that the problem could be the circulation pump and said that itcosts around $800. Does the diagnosis sound correct? I might be able to buy the part from another source for less, but would like to make sure that there is a high probability that this is the actual problem. Thanks for your input and I realize that you are limited in your opinion due to not seeing the acual problem.
Miele makes a special tool that you use to free up circulation pump. The price for that pump is about 800-900 dollars.Call miele and ask for that tool.

I just experienced a F14 error. Repairman came and put the machine in diagnostic mode and came to the conclusion that the circulation pump is the reason - repair cost is approx 800 USD. Sucks for a machine that is 5 years old.I will buy a second hand machine and replace the pump myself.
