How do I connect my turntable to my micro hi fi.The only sockets I have on the hi fi are aux and headphone socket.

You will need to look for a magnetic cartridge preamp this will then plug into the aux socket. If you need that socket for something else I suggest you get a switcher box. You might even get one with a cartridge pre-amp built in!

I have a kenmore moicrowave oven mode 721.63763

Some have found that the door latch and door switch causes this problem. Try holding door closed tighter and see if it goes away. If so, probably adjust the door switch.

No heating, turntable does not turn, but clock & lights work.

Check to make sure the plastic on the shelve holders or tuntable guide did not wear and expose metal. If these holders or brackets are wore and exposed metal it shorted out your micro wave. They need to be replaced and a fuse needs to be replaced inside the control panel,

Problem with phono jack on amplifier for turntable. When turntable is played there is a lot of feedback which makes it difficult to hear the record. turntable is an aiwa and amplifier is sony but shouldn't...

sound like it needs earthed.
there should be a little skinny black wire either coming off the turntable or in between the phono cables screw this to your amp.
if not then check the head shell connection to the tonearm.
if after all that & still on luck the is only one solution left. buy a little mixer & connect the turntable to it then come out the mixer into the amps AUX or CD input.
good luck mate.

Can the hook that holds the arm be replaced? Mine broke.

yes but it's a **** to get to, it's a little screw which is undernith where the arm sits, you'll see it.
I just hope it's not like a 12/10 otherwise it will have a locking washer & YOU DONT WANT ONE OF THEM! l.o.l
Good Look! Mate

I own Gemini TT01 belt drive turntable, as time has gone on the spindle in the middle has become lose and wobbly. So one of my turntables is now near impossible to mix on as it throws the needle out of...

Take the platter off & tietern the bolt that holds the spindle pin to the motor or in your case the base.
if you carnt get to it by taking off the platter then u will have to unscrew the base & get to it that way.
OH & dont forget to unscrew the feet coz they hold the corners together.
& good luck mate coz Theres alot screws to take out.

if u get stuk E-Mail me.....

where is the ground wire from the turntable connected to ? Ensure that is is connected to the phono pre-amp's ground.

Is the turntable sitting on top/near any other equipment ? Try changing the position and see if the hum reduces. If yes, then it is likely that it is picking up hum from a mains transformer.

Connecting a turn table to a micro stereo system

You will need the following to connect this to that system:

1) Phono Pre-amp
2) 3.5mm to RCA adapter or 3.5mm 'Y' cable to RCA
3) Turntable

Your turntable will connect to the Phono Pre-Amp input. This pre-amp will also have an output. This output is RCA, from here you connect to your system using the 3.5mm adapter or cable.

That's it.
