How can i tell if its running on 12v or 240v

Running on AC always cools down faster. If you plug it in to AC and the fridge cools quickly then the switch position is AC. Turn on a 12 volt light. Watch the lite while you operate the switch. When the light dims a little the switch position is in the DC mode.

Have 2006 rav 4. Abs, brake, vsc and tr ac lights all come on at once. They always go off after a bit of driving... All fluid levels are good.... Very wet and snowy here

I know this problem from the many posts about it on this site, as to the cause it is never always the same, it will require a trip to the Toyota dealer for testing and diagnosis with special diagnostic tools.

AC switch always on for mitsubishi galant

It can be "on" in defrost mode without touching it.
Otherwise, the switch is probably stuck.

the red light turns on automatically after 120 hrs of running to remind us for cleaning the filters. once you cleaned the filters and inserted back , then just keep ac in stand by mode, open the remote panel and press the button on extreme right bottom of the remote ( see carefully in the remote, there is very light image of the filter is made along with the button). red light will go off. no need to press the reset button.... enjoy

I have a Lynx system with a 5828 wireless keypad that I have connected a 5v transformer to it to keep the keypad lit always. The keypad does not stay lit always and it keeps going to sleep after 10...

It sounds like your 5V transformer isn't working. It could be the outlet it is plugged into isn't working, or the outlet is on a light switch that is turned off, or there is a problem with the keypad itself. The user manual says:

"AC-Powered Operation: When powered by the
optional AC adapter, the keypad remains active at all
times. If AC power is lost, the keypad reverts to
battery-powered operation until AC power is restored
On AC powered units you can get the status by viewing
the display."

The only way I know of to keep it active is by using the transformer.

Hope this helps.
