SOURCE: intermatic model T1O4R stopped working. time dial

Can you turn the load ON and OFF with the manual switch? If not, the circuit breaker supplying the timer has probably tripped. Turn the breaker OFF, then back ON. Sometimes a breaker will trip, but it looks like it's still ON.
If you are getting 240 volts at the timer from the breaker, and if you can also manually turn the clock dial, then the timer motor is bad.

Pool timer clicking but doesnt keep time

If timer dial does not rotate and keep good time, then replace clock motor.
Clock motor is getting weak, and maybe trippers are sticking on on-off lever.
Add a bit of white grease to on-off lever, and turn power off then spray metal gears with bit of WD40. WD40 is highly flammable so power should be turned off.

Hi, I have few quick questions regarding the Intermatic HB114C 240 Volt, I would appreciate if you can answer my questions 1. Does this unit have Internal Built in Clock to set up the Clock or does...

HB114C timer likely will not work in India.
Contact Intermatic:
Plug type is different than found in India.
India power generation is 50 Hz, so timer might not keep time even with plug adapter.
US power grid is 60Hz, so US-sold products are 60Hz.
Some timers are both 50Hz and 60Hz, but spec sheet usually shows that information.
HB114C spec sheet does not show Hz.

HB114C is analog appliance timer with clock motor that rotates dial once every 24 hours.
The timer does not have a countdown feature.
Trippers are placed on dial.
As dial rotates, trippers move small switch that opens and closes circuit to load.
Current time is set by manually rotating clock dial until current time lines up with arrow located on inner dial.
After power failure, current time must be reset.
There is no way to install a battery back-up inside the timer.

Timer is probably repairable if manual override clicks crisp and clean and load turns on-off.
If the timer dial is not rotating or not on time, then replace clock motor. WG number is printed on clock motor.
If dial is rotating on time, then replace 156T1978A trippers.

You say clock doesn't work.
Add a comment with following information:
Do you have timer with analog dial?
Does dial rotate as time passes?
Does dial keep good time?
Have you put the black and red trippers in place?
Are trippers push all the way down?
Have you set current time by rotating clock dial 2 full turns before rotating dial to current time?

My timer stopped working.

You posted under Intermatic box-type timer.

You can add a comment with brand and model number that shows inside timer door for best possible answer. Please add what symptoms you observe.
If you have brand different than Intermatic, then add specific brand like Tork or Paragon or GE.

1) For example is clock dial rotating? If not, then tip mechanism out of box and look for clock motor number printed on clock motor.
2) If dial is rotating as time passes, and keeping correct time, then you might need new trippers.
3) Does manual override lever click crisp and clean, or is it stiff and stuck from rust? If override doesn't work, then replace timer.
4) Does manual override lever turn load on-off? If not, then check circuit breaker, and check that load (light bulb or motor) is functioning.

5) You can buy extra trippers and motors by searching for specific number that appears on clock. For example WG1570 or WG1573
For example Grainger sells these parts for T101, T103, T104, T106 timers:

Intermatic T101 timer

T101 timer is strictly 120Volt timer
Wiring and manual show on following link

See another image of wiring:

Amazon sells T101:

If timer is not functioning, add a comment.

Grainger sells 125V clock motor and tripper for T100 series timers.
If manual override does not turn Load ON, and the lever snaps crisp and clean, then check electric circuit. Check if load is operable.
If override does not snap crisp and clean, then timer may be worn out.
If dial does not rotate, replace clock motor.
If dial rotates but does not click override back and forth, then replace trippers.

How T101 works:
Lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer
Clock motor rotates dial.
ON-OFF trippers attached outer edge of dial contact a lever.
ON tripper pushes lever one direction.
Off tripper pushes lever opposite direction.
Lever opens and closes electrical contacts.
Lever also pushes manual override lever back and forth with audible click.

Need manual to set timer

You posted under T-100 series outdoor timer
If you have different timer, add a comment with timer model number located inside cover.

T-104, T-103, T-101 timer manuals show on following page:
If your timer has R suffix, like T-101R, that means box is Raintight for outdoor use.
T-101R and T-101 mechanisms are identical except for box. T-101 box is indoor use.
Click model number and drop-down menu reveals link to manual

If you need simple wiring diagrams, and explanation for each T-104, T-103, T-101 timer:

Here's how to set Intermatic T100 series timers:
Lift and rotate yellow dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.
Silver pointer is stationary at 6 o'clock position.
Put ON-OFF trippers on dial at times you want ON OFF functions.
Minimum on-off is 1 hour because of tripper width.
If timer is not working, add a comment and we'll troubleshoot.

These timers have replacement trippers and clock motors at Grainger

How timer works:
Clock motor, located on back of mechanism, rotates yellow dial.
Trippers on dial push lever that turns power ON and OFF.
Off tripper pushes lever one direction.
ON tripper pushes lever opposite direction.
When lever is pushed, manual override lever clicks back and forth with audible click sound.

I having troble with my t103 timer to turn the lights on manualy i try to set the timer but for some reason doesn't work what can i do ???

T103 Intermatic timer has 120Volt clock motor and can control 120V or 240V Loads.
Wiring for timer is shown on following link:

Troubleshoot T103:
1) Manual override is working correctly, and it snaps crisp and clean, and Load turns on-and-off.
That means timer is basically good.

2) Next look to see if yellow dial is rotating.
If dial is not rotating, then 120Volt clock motor needs to be replaced.
Take photo of wiring and mark wires before starting.
Remove two white wires connected to screw terminals 1 and A.
Snap timer mechanism out of box, clock motor is on back of timer.
Use small star screwdriver to remove old clock motor.
Reattach white wires on terminals 1 and A, tighten screws very tight.
Reset current time: lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.
Grainger sells 125V clock motor:

3) If dial is rotating, but gets stuck at certain times, or runs slow, then replace clock motor.

4) If dial is rotating, and trippers are attached to dial, but timer does not turn ON, then trippers are worn down and need to be replaced.
Grainger sells the T103 trippers

5) How Intermatic mechanical timers work:
Dial with ON-OFF trippers is rotated by clock motor.
Trippers on dial contact ON-OFF lever.
ON tripper pushes lever one direction.
OFF tripper pushes lever opposite direction.
Lever moves electrical contacts on back of timer that turn Load ON-OFF.
Manual override lever clicks back and forth with each ON-OFF action.

I've set the time on/off and ive tried turning on manually but the lights wont turn on on exact time set. y? when i manually turn on the lights come on 2 hrs later or so, y doesnt it turn on right away?

If I understand correctly, you have an Intermatic timer.
The timer has a yellow dial that rotates around like a clock.

Does the manual override work?
If yes.
a) then the circuit has electricity
b) the lights are in working order

Does the clock rotate?
If yes
a) then the timer is probably good
b) the clock motor could be bad
c) the gears could be rusty and dirty

Do you have the current time set correctly?
Lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.

Do you have the trippers set on the correct time?
There are ON trippers and OFF trippers
Attach trippers to correct time
Tripper pins wear out

Suggestion: You sit in front of the timer and watch the trippers as they rotate to the bottom of the dial
When the trippers get to the bottom, they push a lever that turns lights on and off.
Look at the photo:

Here's a website that sells tripper pins and clock motors for Intermatic timers.
You can buy new trippers or clock motor
