Question about Dryers
My GE Profile dryer squeeks constantly while drying a load of clothes. As the clothes become dry, the squeeking is less. What could this be? Is it something that can be lubricated or do I have a bearing going bad or is it something else?
It's most likely the roller bushigs/axles which need lubricating -- they've probably not failed yet, but will if ignored.
They squeak more when clothes are wet because of more weight.
I'd also lubricate the motor while your in there.
