The move the software completely. Shut down the computer. Unplug the device. Get offline and disable the A/V program. Now reinstall and do exactly what the prompts say- no short cuts.

Go to the Brother Solutions Centre website for your printer here and click "Downloads". Select your operating system and continue to download the driver. Hope that helps!
