Some Subwoofer accept stereo line in, and hi end may need 4 channel line in direct from your head unit, its depend on which type you AMP is?

How do i hook up logitech speakers #z313 to my desktop i need a diagram

Phone jack on woofer goes into computer tower (should be color coded green) and power cable on woofer plugs into 120VAC. Speaker phone jack plugs into back of woofer. The speaker cable has an on-off switch and volume control as well as a phone jack for your headset.

I need help hooking up my system from cable box to old toshiba 52 inch tv does not have hdmi on tv red, green , blue wires i also bought today a sony blue ray player speakers are not working ...

Hello,

Please indicate the brand and model of your receiver, BD player and your speakers. Basically, you just need to connect the cable box and blue ray player to the receiver. The 5.1 speakers should be connected to the blue ray player, then another set of cables from your BD player to your TV. When you want to use the speakers while watching TV, you need to turn on the blue ray player too.

Alright well I have a Numark rack mount dj set with two CDN95 2 disc players. Well I bought it used with speakers and everything and do not know how to plug everything, I really need some help please...

As shown in the Quick Start Guide (link below) this unit should be connected to a Mixer Unit.

http://www.numark.com/stuff/contentmgr/files/0/662529d8e9e5b8ebe1747274e5bad9d6/file/cdn95_quickstartguide.pdf

Looking at the Diagram they appear to be standard AV Cables so you should just be able to plug the CD Outputs into the Amp AV Inputs (as long as it's a Dual Amp) and then connect your speakers to the Amp (make sure the speakers impedance matches the Amp.

Further details available at http://www.numark.com/cdn95?tt=5

Need wiring diagram for bass w x 10

You have not mentioned what equipment you would like to connect to this active subwoofer.
Assuming you have an AV Receiver, you will require a single long RCA to RCA subwoofer cable. Connect the left input (white socket ) of the subwoofer to the AV Receiver subwoofer pre output.
Leave the front crossover knob at 100Hz , Phase at 0. While playing an audio track slowly increase the subwoofer front volume to suit your taste. If you are using big floor standing speakers along with the subwoofer reduce the crossover frequency to 70Hz. Phase should be adjusted to blend the front speakers with the sub.bobhifi_6.jpg

I have no idea how to connect these speakers all I have is the wires for the 5 speakers and a power cord for the sub any help please?

You have not mentioned -- connect it to what ???. Assuming that its an AV receiver. Start by connecting the front three speakers to the the amplifiers speaker sockets labeled Left front / Center / Right Front. These are connected using three short wires. Then connect the two surround speakers using the pair of long speaker cables. You will need a RCA to RCA cable to connect the subwoofer to the Receivers subwoofer preamp out.The subwoofer also requires an A/C wall socket to power it.

How to hookup

It depends on the TV connectors. The most common is to use either the AV or S-video. In both cases you carry the video signal on one cable (either an RCA plug (yellow) or a S-video). Plug this into the appropriate video in on the TV. Then you can connect the audio. If you use the TVs speakers or a stereo receiver or amplifier, use a 2-plug (or a 3-plug including the RCA video) on each end wire (red and white for the audio) with the white wire carrying the left audio. Connect this cable to the audio outputs labeled Front on the left of the DVD player. If your TV uses PAL signal you will need to set the audio to 2-channel and the Down-Mix to Lo/Ro. Both are accessed from the On-screen menu or the buttons on the remote when a disc is in the player. The Down-mix is in Preferences 2 (Zoom + on the remote) and the Audio Channels is in Speaker Settings (Zoom - on the remote).

If you are using a multichannel (5.1) speaker system, use a couple of extra audio cables and match them to the speakers input ports (center, subwoofer, rear left and right). Set the Speaker settings appropriately. If your receiver can handle digital audio output, you can use that (get a cable) and modify the Preferences 2 section for digital audio.

If your TV doesn't have A/V inputs, you will need a converter. (If you only have RF (coax) in, get a RF modulator.) These are available at many stores.

I hope this helps.

Subwoofer wont work

Receivers often have the ability to switch off the subwoofer channel. Especial if it wasn't connected before. If it has the ability to do a speaker test or set up try that. If it bypasses the subwoofer that will confirm the channel is not on.

Need a hookup diagram for yamaha rx-v461 plus yamaha yst-sw216 please

Hi,
Here you can find the manual for your subwoofer. Looking at its back side, it has 2 RCA plug input for stereo. Receiver has just mono sub output, but as low frequencies are not easily locatable, mono is perfectly OK.
Just connect receiver SUB-OUTPUT with RCA cable to your subwoofer's RCA LEFT input. Then adjust volume to match rest of your speakers.
