Question about Frigidaire GLHS66EJ (26.0 cu. ft.) Side by Side Refrigerator
When you try to adjust temp. it will reset and power on again
Those readings especially for the freezer are normal. why you are getting a reset is strange. Use another digital thermometer and take readings in both locations. I suspect that there will be a different story and then you can go from there to find the cause of the anomaly.

check the evaporator fan motor, behind the back wall of the freezer. If that is turning check if the damper is opening, top lt of the refrigerator compartment. I hope this helps you.

Check to see whether the ice maker has been turned off. Here's how to check. Look for a wire along the right side of the ice maker that looks a bit like a coat hanger. If this wire is in the raised position, the ice maker is turned off. On some units you simply lower the wire to the down position to turn the ice maker on. On others, you lower a small red plastic lever to lower the wire. If the wire is in the proper position check the freezer temperature, it should be between 0-8 degrees Fahranheit. If it is warmer than 10-12 degrees, the ice maker may not produce any ice. Check your door seals and thermostat, repair/replace as necessary.

SOURCE: i have a frigidaire fridge,
The E-F Error is a comon fault with all Frigidaire units and is related to the Evaporator Fan but the fault is more often than not associated with the Control Board.
Removing the power from the unit (for upto 8 hours depending on the Control Board) could reset the Control Board and clear your problem.
If this doesn't work then you'll need to replace the Evaporator Fan and/or Control Board.
Can you hear the Evaporator Fan running behind the back panel in the Freezer?
