Question about Televison & Video
It has been suggested that I elaborate on the problem so here goes. The Recorder lost all the recorded programmes and the TV Guide. I posted this on here and it was suggested that I do the following - Menu>Set up> Help> Green>Red. This I did and everything worked again. The only problem is that I cannot now record a series - there used to be a Series Link option which no longer seems to be there. Any ideas

If you have no recordings and it's playing up, I'd do a complete reset as follows;
Restore Factory Defaults
This will restore all the factory settings and erase the contents of the box.
This will re-partition and re-format the hard drive.
This will wipe everything you have recorded. It will also dump your 14 day Electronic Program Guide which will take upto a day to reload. Leave the unit on standby.
You might want to take this opporunity to do a channel scan as well.
