Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Asus zenpad10 tablet stuck in fastboot mode

KEEP HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON UNTIL YOUR PHONES SWITCHES OFF OR PULL OUT THE BATTERY DIRECTLY(If Required) to exit the FAST BOOT MODE and then start your phone normally by pressing only the power button.

Also in case you were trying to enter the recovery mode to wipe cache or hard reset then keep holding the power button and volume DOWN button until you get vibration and release the power button and keep holding the volume DOWN button to enter RECOVERY.

Asus touch pad power button stuck

Generally when buttons get stuck it could be from dirt or other matter in the button mechanics. Use compressed air to remove debris then use a soft bristled brush to clean as best you can. If that doesn't work, power down the unit, remove the power supply and battery and squirt in a blast of CRC Electronics
Cleaner (purchased at your local electronics store).

Asus laptop restarts when charger is connected

You can try doing a hard reboot to see if its a small glitch by shutting down the laptop, unplug it, take the battery out. Then with the battery out and unplugged hold the power button down for 30 seconds then release. Then put the battery back in, plug the laptop back in and boot it back up to see if the issue persists.

How to get out of hibernation mode nothing working

Remove the power plug, remove the battery, HOLD the POWER button pressed for 2 full minutes. Your problem should be resolved then. when computers get stuck in hibernation it is hard to get them unstuck. The only way is to force the computer to shut down. Holding the power button pressed for 2 minutes clears the cache that builds up over time, it also releases any static electricity built up. When you are done the computer should boot normally.

Eject button stuck

Near the eject button (on the same face as the eject button) there should be a pin hole. Use a straigtened paper clip to force the ejection of a stuck disk. It may also work even without a disk stuck. ( I just tried it on the drive of the laptop.)

Please check whether the laptop power button may be in the pressed mode.. please release the key. If the key is not released after you pressed the power button, the laptop will power off.
Clean the power on button.
Hope this works..

Ok I have an asus n80vm notebook i'm havig a problem with the battery. But I have an even bigger problem because the little switch that you use to release the battery from the compartment is broken so I'm...

Bottom of laptop will probably be trapped by the battery, often with screws beneath the battery as well. Try fiddling the release slider with a small screwdriver; ultimately prise battery out using flat-bladed screwdriver at the release-catch end. Things may break, but duct tap works wonders!

The battery has a release button on the bottom of the machine. Some models have a locking button separate from the release, so be sure that the locking button is unlocked, if yours has one. If this is all correct and the battery still won't budge, then most likely the battery has swelled and is stuck. Most of the time when a battery gets stuck due to swelling, it only slightly stuck, just enough not to be able to pull it by hand. Take a flathead screwdriver and pry up on it lightly while depressing/sliding the release. It should pry out with minimal pressure, if it seems that you're applying too much pressure, then you may want to have a tech remove it. It may be that the release mechanism has malfunctioned, and forcing it will break something.

Stuck on asus logo on startup??

Same problem here with my wife's Asus laptop. Called Asus and they said to unplug charger, remove the battery in the back, hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Then, replace battery, then charger, then press the power button and wait for startup. First time it got stuck at the windows loading bar screen for like 5 min. which is abnormal. Did a hard power down (press and hold power button til it shuts off) then restarted again. That time it worked and all is well so far. Could have been due to a static charge as she was on our couch with our dog backing up movies so charge might have entered through the CD/DVD drive opening. (?) Not sure, but if you are sitting on a static-prone couch with your laptop its probably best to sit on top of a bounce sheet.
