Yes very easy with a razor sharp knife you will need to cut it in middle.
When you did that you will have this [ ] [ ] if you put in the right part you will record video to sd card and the left side will put pictures on sd card , when ur done just put them together with some tape again and same thing next time

Have a 4Gb memory card but when I put it in SD slot to take pictures, it always indicates CARD ERROR even whe the card is unlocked.

From what I see of the specifications for the NV-GS25, it uses SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card, which is electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed for SDHC cards. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

I WANT TO RECORD VIDEOS ON SD CARD. BUT ONLY PHOTOS ARE GETTING STORED ON SD CARD. ALL VIDEOS ARE GETTING RECORDED ON CASSETTES. HOW TO CHANGE THE SETTING SO THAT VIDEOS ARE REOCRDED ON SD CARD???

As much as I know of this camcorder is not designed to store videos on your card. So keep to what it can do. the video is so bulky for this camera's card to contain anything of material. I think that's why it is not meant to do that.
