Freezer not cooling great

I have a GE 18.2 cubic feet fridge that does not freeze in the upper compartment. I have checked the temperature settings and they are withing cooling limits. I have also double checked to make sure that the cooling duct is not covered and door is staying shut.

What is the cu ft of Model FRT21IL4FW3 Freezer space?

Easiest solution is to measure the inside dimensions in inches, tall, width and depth. Then multiply the three dimensions t x w x d = cubic inches. To get cubic feet then divide the above answer by 1728 and the result is cubic feet..

For instance if the fridge is 60 inches tall x 24 inches wide x 18 inches deep; the answer is 60 x 24 x 18 = 25,929 cubic inches... 25,920 divided by 1728 = 15 cubic feet.

My 18 year old refrigerator GE model TFX24FG freezer side is not keeping food frozen. Refrigerator side seems to be working normally.

The refrigerator side is at present working properly , but slowly slowly, it will also loose its cooling.This will happen because, freezer side is the side which cools first, then the refrigerator side ( also called as fridge side)., gets cooled.If freezer side is not cooling / freezing properly then fridge side will also loose its cooling ability.------------ And later on both section will loose its cooling.----------- As per the present situation, it indicates problem with compressor or problem with freezer side door not closing properly.---------- Or the temperature in freezer section is not set to proper cooling/ freezing.--------- So first inspect temperature, is it set right? If ok, then check the freezer door , is it properly closed? If ok, then its compressor problem.? The compressor is running non stop, this is indication of compressor problem.---------- Click this link below for more help:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/06/both-refrigerator-and-freezer-not.html ----------- Later on both section will loose its cooling. -------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I have a Magic Chef Refrigerator Freezer Model MCBR1020W. It is a small 10 cubic capacity for my basement. It is about 18 months old. The freezer works great but the refrigerator compartment never gets to...

Is this a two door refrigerator?
If it is then their is an air duct that allows some air from the freezer to cool the fridge section.
Three things to look for;
Is the air duct blocked
Is the fan blowing air
is the freezer coil frozen over.
Try manually defrosting the fridge. If that helps then you have an auto defrost problem. A technician can help you there

Whirlpool 6 sense model WSC5513- A+ X side by side, without ice or water dispenser. Refrigerator part not cooling properly. Temperature setting is -18 degrees Celsius for the freezer and 2 degrees...

The temp for the fridge is about right and -18 for the freezer is ok so check to see if the water filter is plugged, at 8 degrees Celsius is about 18 degrees fht. Which is freezing so the numbers don't add up. 26 degrees below zero on the freezer side is what you want if it that cold it could have frozen the water line.
