Flash focus will not work on all colors picture is blurred and has doulbe vision

I think I may have the same problem. My Sony, model # KP-51ws510, just started messing up last night. The top left corner of the screen shows a curve that drops about 3 inches from the top before curving back up to the top center of the screen. My colors aren't lining up; all the lettering shows the red (or purple, depending on the screen) behind and a little higher than the green letters. Using the convergence adjustments and flash focus brought them a little closer, so that the crosses on the flash focus screen almost align, but still not quite.

What do I need to do to fix this?

One of a few things might be happening
1. Photos being taken at high zoom (i.e. 200mm) are susceptible to camera shake, even though the lens is focusing properly. The solution here is use a tripod, zoom out, or steady yourself.
2. Photos being taken without flash when flash should really be used will result in motion blur (which is slightly different than camera shake). This is due to the camera using a longer shutter speed to let more light in, with the side effect being that objects will move while the shutter is open, blurring the picture. The solution here is to use a flash, or take pictures in better light.
3. The camera may be focusing on something other than what you intended.
3. If you are taking photos in good light with a steady hand, and the camera is choosing the correct subject to focus on, then yes, the lens could need readjusted, though this is not a very likely scenario.
If the lens is "hunting" for focus, that could be a sign that something is amiss.
A local camera shop can verify the accuracy of focus for your lens.

Colors are separated red, yellow and green so picture is blurred

lgray1010,

Try using the Flash Focus to/or manually try to dial in the convergence. If you are unable to focus the TV using its convergence adjustment it's time to call the TV repair guy. Figure on between $250.00 and $400.00 USD.

Blurred camera vision

Make sure the webcam is clean
Some cameras have a focus ring around the lens. This has to be rotated to bring the picture into focus.
Others rely solely on the software.
If you have to re-install
Unplug webcam
Uninstall old webcam software
Restart computer
Visit the webcam manufacturer's support website and download new software

If you are printing color and you have color blurring like streaks. it mean the registration of the colors are off. Usually using the internal cleaning function from the panel will clear this up. You should restart the copier as well. If it continues check all the feed rollers.
