Question about Kodak Cameras
I no how to take the picture but am not sure how to download to my computer.i have a kodak easyshare cd153 14mp digital camera with 3x optical zoom and 3.0 inch lcd. i bought from a friend but had no directions.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

With every Kodak digital camera, comes a CD or 2 or a DVD. On it is a manual (most of the time lots of languages) and a program called Picture Easy and drivers for old operating systems. Before you can connect the camera to the PC, you must install that program. There are several universal picture managing programmes, like Ulead, that can handle different cameras.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

hmmm the pictures can be on the camera's own memory or on a card if you use one ...usually after you inserted the card it will take the card as storage by default ...and this also will be downloaded first when you plug it into computer and run the wizard or open the removable device folder to copy them ...but to get the rest of the pictures from the internal memory (probably made before inserted the card ) you have to remove the card and connect again and see if it sees the internal memory ...if not ..you need the driver and a manager to import from device ...
Us ethe manager from the disk that came with the camera or download and install one like the ACDSee manager and use the import from device feature..after you removed the card ..
If it is the other way around and it takes only internal memory pictures and the ones from the card remain ..than insert the cable and the card and the card will be seen into My computer folder like a removable storage device ..and from there you can copy /paste them anywhere ..
