Question about Motorola Cell Phones
I have a Motorola Silver L7 for about 6-7 years with not one problem. Suddenly yesterday the "call log" stopped working. I pressed the call log image from the menu and it didn't work. I tried the hotkey (left arrow) and it showed me that it tried to open it but again, no matter how much I tried, it didn't open and it remained on menu. Today I thought to try open it via the call button, to get the last numbers I called. For my surprise it opened, but when I pressed either * or # to go to the other menus, it crashed to the main screen. I have a major problem with this, because I cannot get a message (not sms, I mean the actual message from the phone) that I have a missed call and who called me. I mean, there could be 10 missed calls during my sleep and I couldn't notice when waking up. Does anyone know a solution for this?
You must have to make reset to factory default, go to the MENU, and ask to restore. see your owner manual, or download from your supplier company or go to www. retrevo.com and get it.
However you must try to see if the battery charger adapter is o.k or battery this is very importante, because this would be a problem . test it.Otherwise the software is corrupted.
God bless you

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If sounds like DTMF is turned off on your phone. If it is then it is not sending the correct tone over the air which is why nothing happens. Go into setting, then to initial setup and key down toward the bottom and you should see DTMF if it is off change it to short or long and that should correct you problem.

SOURCE: Nokia N95 wont display Log
Resetting to factory settings will probably sort it out. But you might loose the data stored on the phone. You'll find the reset in the menu, tools, settings.
I'm assuming that you switch your phone off sometimes, if you don't, try a restart first.

Use your "memory cleaning" tool within your options application.
This feature will delete all unnecessary history (calls, messages, emails, etc.) that is storing up clutter on your device.
After trying the "memory cleaning" and your device still displays 4 missed calls, you can always "master reset" or update your software. A master reset can be performed with your "security settings". A software upgrade can be performed using your Blackberry Desktop Software. The initial update can be found at Blackberry.com and click on software>device software.
Hope this helps! Thanks.

hold down your alt key and press LG-LG it will ask you if you want to delete call log.
press yes to erase call log then take battery out of phone and let power back on and this will clear up your free space so it will not erase your call logs!

First thing : the person who's calling you have CLIR . Don't put the same number to phone & SIM. Use the phone memory and also save numbers in international format.
