Just go to its menu option first. There you can change the sound system to PAL B/G, NTSC, andso on. Select the system to PAL B/G first. Then make an auto tune function, All the channels sorted by the TV will automatically tuned and stored in memory with PAL B/G only.

Have just bought a hardly used sega megasystem 2 console but it doesnt seem to work. does anyone know where all the leads etc should go? thanks

Hi, Sega master system 2 are connected to your TV via an RF cable. One end is RCA which connects to your console the other end is Pal which connects to you TV's antenna inlet if your using the sega RF switch then the RF switch connects to your antenna inlet on your TV and you should have a RCA to RCA cable which connects the console to the switch. Please note these cables and power adaptors can in some cases be faulty. These console are manually tune to VHF-1 frequency so make sure your TV has this frequency. some do tune to UHF but most tune to VHF-1 if you need parts www.gameoz.com.au stock the a huge range.

What do I need that I can get local TV off air?

You need a suitable VHF/UHF antenna. Then you simply "Tune" VHF/UHF frequencies on the TV and it should find channels and automatically "Lock" onto and store them.

Since the digital switchover, I have lost channels, despite re running the setup and tuning. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

I have a similar issue. When the digital switch happened here some of the local TV stations changed frequencies from UHF to VHF. I do not have a VHF antenna so I am unable to receive these channels. I do have a great UHF antenna, but it will not receive VHF. The fix is of course is a new UHF/VHF antenna. I am 50 miles away from the TV transmitters.

This may or may not be your problem. I hope this is helpful to you.

Tuning programmes on Toshiba 30HF83 30" TV Problem

Hello Skinno, Frist of all make sure that you are set to Antenna input and then connect your antenna to the TV this will pull in the VHF ansd UHF channels. Then perform the auto channel select. If this does not work perform a manual channel selection this should clear up your situation.
