I would first check your cables. It seems as though the RCA cable could have a problem, OR if your using a standard def set up (Yellow=Video, Red/White=Audio) make sure the TV input is not set on component. Component input will be looking for an RGB input method. Try using another input, make sure the wires are plugged in the right location, and the input is set correctly. Hope this helps :)

SOURCE: Not used the Wii in several months. Now it will

I had a similar problem with our Wii, although Im not sure if its the same situation. We didnt use ours for awhile either but I still had it plugged in to the power strip. Unplug it from the power source and leave it unplugged for 5 mins or so. When I plugged it back in it powered on and worked fine. I got this off of nintendos support site, and I included the link here. I hope this helps.. Happy Gaming..

SOURCE: All games have noise in the picture.

Have you tried to clean the drive yet? If not, you can buy a drive cleaner at places like target, game crazy, or best buy. You need to buy a genuine NINTENDO brand cleaner though. They say that others may damage the disc drive and experts have backed this up. It is not just a marketing tool to get you to buy nintendo. I believe ours cost about 15 dollars.

Have sound but no picture

Hi

First thing to go is try a different television and a different video cable if still no picture is displayed on television (screen is blank) You seem to have a problem with the video output from your nintendo wii.

NO PICTURE
1 Turn your television to the correct video input channel. For many televisions, you can press the "Input" button until you see the Wii start up screen.
2 Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the DC jack on the Wii and the opposite end is plugged into a working electrical outlet. Press the "Power" button on the Wii and wait for the indicator light to turn blue.
3 Secure all of the Wii component cables to the "Video In" jacks on the television. In addition, make sure the opposite end of the wire is fully plugged into the Wii.

All indication lights are working but there is still no picture or sound

Maybe the audio.video component cables are damaged/not plugged in properly or the Wii is not transferring audio/video at all. Send it to Nintendo repair, they do an excellent job and you'll get your system back usually within 2 weeks.

Picture is in black and white, no color

You probably don't have something hooked up right or connected all the way. If you are using component video cables, make sure that all of the different plugs are plugged into the matching socket on your TV. Also, make sure you have your TV on the right channel (3 or 4) if that's how you have it setup.
Otherwise, you will want to look at the input settings on your TV and make sure you are receiving the correct input, and if you have your Wii plugged into a VCR instead of directly to your TV, try hooking it up directly to see if it works.
If that doesn't work, try using a different TV - especially if it's a TV you know works in color with a Wii. If it is still in black and white, you might need to take it back to the store and exchange it for a new one.

Wii sports games

My Wii Sports disk crapped out on me within the first 2 weeks. I finally got frustrated enough to call Nintendo. They took down my credit card information and sent me a new disk with the stipulation that, if I didn't send the old one back in the provided packaging, they would dun my credit card $16.99. The new disk worked for several months but has now crapped out again in spite of it remaining in the Wii console. Here we go again. Hope this helped

Wii won't turn on

I called the Wii 800 number, and it said to unplug the a/c adapter from the wall and the unit for 2 minutes, and this resets it, it fixed mine.
