My Toshiba Satellite Laptop suddenly stopped making sound. I went to every setting possible, in the software, with no improvement. If I use a head set it is the same. When I play iTunes it indicates that the music is playing, but I hear nothing. There is intermittenly no audio output device installed. After few days or few minutes, the audio works fine.
Install a new operating system using dark edition win xp profetional and install the given board drivers and then try. if not you try to check where the pin is to be inserted and see if it is loose then try the person who nows electronics to fix it back for you
