The tool has an 'impuls' function that is very handy for starting bits into hard metal with out walking, or driving or removing screws with damaged heads. The pulse allows the drill bit to penetrate the metal and the screw driver bit to find its' best seat in the screw head.
There is a switch on the rear of the tool. Flip the switch one way to turn on the impuls feature, the other way to turn it off!

This switch will turn the impulse mode on or off. The impulse mode provides the burst of power needed to prevent slippage
and allow easier drilling of tile and other hard materials.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: My Metabo don't start
probably an overload sensor fault. Sorry, not a user serviceable fault.

Testimonial: "Is it possible to replace it? Where can I find what part should be replaced?"
I saw them in the latest Metabo leaflet. They are serious producer and they shoudl keep spare parts for few years after they discontinue some product. Try to call to Metabo in your country. Juraj

IF you have continuity through the switch and the brushes look good then remove on brush and look at the commutator segments. There should be nice even gaps between each segment. If you have on that a goodbit wider than the others then your rotor is bad. If not then more than likley your stator is bad.
