Samsung HL-R5688W DLP TV Screen Burn

I don't know where you got the information that burning could not happen but that is completely wrong. If it is a monitor, tube tv, LCD/LED, DLP or any other kind of viewing device it can burn. With that out of the way if the lamp warning is coming on then it is time to replace it but your image problems are deeper than that. The screen appears to be separating. By that I mean there are three layers and sometimes more depending on the manufacturer that display color. Think of it like saran wrap laired on top of each other. As they get old or of poor quality they start to separate and show some pretty funky imaging. Without the TV in my shop I most certainly cannot 100 percent say for sure that this is it but I would strongly consider this as not fixable.

Low fuel light on gauge doesnt work

lamp burned out, ?
but does the fuel guage work 100%
and at what tank level do you expect the lamp to come on.?
did you read the FSM on this, its covered

on this car, the PCM reads the fuel level then sets the fuel guage
and if the level (voltage from tank sender) is below a specific
voltage , it glows the lamp, low fuel
so if the fuel guage works, and the lamp is dead, the lamp is burned out. (or conn. bad to it)

How to change bulbs in a safescan 65

read your owner manual section troubleshooting or how to replace it.
God bless you
Rear-Projection TVs have a lamp, which picks up the picture and projects it on the TV screen. A burned-out or connected lamps are two of the most common problems for Rear-Projection TVs. First, you will want to confirm the bulb is still good. If the bulb is bad then then replace it immediately. Second consult your user manual and verify the lamp and lamp cover are installed properly. Most Rear-Projection TVs have warning light which notify you when there are lamp problems. Again consult the user's manual to see what each light means.

Bulb blew, now cannot turn off any bulb

the lamps are controlled by a triac that is probably mounted on the control board ... its not unusual for light bulbs to draw extremely high currents as they burn out ... thats because the melting tungston forms a plasma that arcs at very high current levels until a fuse or lead wire burns off inside the lamp ..thats why you see such a bright flash as they burn out .. i recall lamps of 60 watts or greater have to have a built in fuse in the base ... lamps of lower wattage are not forced by law to have that .. so when they burn out they can easily damage external electronics .. so your problem is a shorted triac .. thats a transistor like device that is often used for lamp brightness control .. you can replace the entire control board $$$ or just the defective triac (like $2) .. the bad triac will read shorted between main termanals 1 and 2 on an ohm meter ...(power off of course) .. a normal one will read open ... its likely soldered in place and may have a heat sink attached ... thats an easy job for an electronic person ..

How to change lamp on Hitach 60vg825

Yes, you are due for a lamp. Save yourself some money by ordering just the bulb p/n UX21516 (instead of the whole lamp assy), install it yourself. There are lots of us that sell these bulbs far below what the assy costs. Make sure it is an OSRAM bulb though.
