a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

yes you can order a new switch. once you have it just pay close attention to how the old switch was installed and install it the same way. be sure to have your machine unplugged while you do this repair.

Mine is doing that too. According to the manual, you need to replace the fuse. I'm having trouble locating where the fuse is though.

Hi. I found foot control parts for your machine at http://www.sew4less.com/browse.php?CategoryID=21&filter_brand_id=54&filter_model_id=.

Independent repair shops will work on any model, it's the parts they have no control of. The good thing is that we have ebay, where most hard to find parts always pop up. All or 95% of sewing machine stores here in Bay Area Ca. sell and service PFAFF, even vintage metal mechanical models.
