Yeah I had the same problem, you need to open your calculator and check if all the screen cables is alright, i had just put sellotape on the back of the screen from inside so that the screen hold better, and it works for me if for you not maybe something broken in the schema but try it. The thing I know for sure the problem is in the screen or from where it get the data the schema. Tell me if it's working

Resetting casio FX-115W

Casio fx-115W was locked into some sort of mixed-up engineering output but without the exponent. There is no reset method to my knowledge but by removing the battery and putting the calculator in a drawer for 30 minutes then re-installing the battery the calculator reset to default values and works properly.

Equation mode in casio115W

Sorry, the Fx-115W is unable to solve equations of any type. In addition to that, the more sophisticated Casios such as the FX-991 ES solve linear equations of no more than 3 variables.

How do you doo antilog on casio fx-115w?

For natural antilogarithm use e^x (shift ln). For common antilogarithm use 10^x (shift log). The ln and log keys are on the right side of the keyboard, just above the tan and cos keys.

I am having trouble finding a button on my calculator . The button that raises to a power greater than cubed.

Standard it says x^y or x with y superscripted. Insert the base, press that button, insert the exponent, press =.

How to enter variables

Hello,

When you press the key between X^2 and log it gives you a template where you enter the base of the power (bigger rectangle) and the exponent (the smaller raised rectangle) . Using the 3 cubed exemple is not good because base and exponent are the same.

Exemple :15 cubed.
Press the key with an X with a small raised rectangle. The cursor blinks at the left side of the raised rectangle. Enter the exponent (3). Then use the left arrow to move the cursor to the base. Enter 15 and press [=]. The result is displayed as 3375 or in some other equivalent form (with a power of ten.)
Hope it helps.
