SOURCE: Danby dishwasher E3 error

Same issue here so I just got off the phone with Danby. They said the E3 means the water is not hot enough when it goes into the machine. Now I dont know your guys situation but I let the water run hot until I cant touch it anymore, then I turn on the machine and plug it in. So it sounds like the heating mechanism is not working properly and does not heat the water to the appropriate temp to continue with the cycle. I will say that their support was really friendly and she informed me that since it was purchased less than a year ago it would be covered under the warranty. She gave me the number of a local repair shop. Lets just hope they dont tell me nothing is wrong with it because my water temp is fine. I will let ya guys know. Here is the number for Danby that I called. General office: 419-425-5052. Good Luck!

SOURCE: E3 error code on Candy

Hi

E3 error code in your Candy is a temperature error, which means that the unit is not reaching its desired temperature level. However, as the unit will heat water then it means that the heating element located on the left is fine. The next thing that should be checked is the temperature sensor (thermostat/thermister), as that might not be responding, this part is located at the bottom & can be located beneath the door. Hope this helps...please post back with its model no. for further assistance.

Press the key to set the delay start time. This dishwasher can be delayed to start for 1 to 24 hours, and the display window beside the delay key can indicate the remaining time. If you want to cancel the delay start, just press the delay key to make the remaining time become 0.

The cuff appears to be working, but always returns E3.

E3 error code is an Error Determining Measurement Data. This can be caused by movement of the wrist, hand or arm during the measuring function. In which case, sit very still with your wrist at heart level, until the measuring cycle has completed.

If this continues to happen, contact HoMedics (the manufacturer) Customer Support Dept at 800-466-3342.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

What is the error message E3 ?

The E3 message on your Baumatic dishwasher is a malfunction of the temp sensor or the heating element. Test each part separately and replace the faulty part.

Kenwood dishwasher Comes up E3

I do not know the Kenwood dishwasher, hence I do not know what the E3 error is, but many dishwashers require a sustained pressure of at least 30 psi.
Can you please post the model number of your Kenwood dishwasher?

Stops pumping in middle of program

Hi there,

I know it is a bit late, but maybe it would help the others.
This E3 error means, that the water temperature did not reach desired level (for example 60C if you are using 60C program) in a given time.
The dishwasher starts the heater and waits for example 10 minutes for the water to reach the temp.
The heater is located on the left side of the dishwasher - it heats
water flowing from the bottom bowl to the sprinkler on the top.
There can be few reasons:
- the heating device is dead - easy to check - if the water is hot when E3 appears, then this is not the case
- the water duct from the bottom bowl to the top sprinkler is messy, and needs cleaning (there are some rubber pipes of quite small diameter)
- the temperature sensor (thermistor) is dead / not responding fast enough. It is mounted to the bottom bowl and can be reached from the front cover, under the doors.

Hope it would help to somebody.
I have already had this and few other problems. All of them have about 5-6 reasons to appear, and I think I know all of them for now :-)
For me, knowing what to expect and how to fix each E-something, this dishwasher is perfect and will last forever :-)

Regards,
Piotr

Dishwasher Hoover HD98E

E3 means water is "not heating" for this model. Check the heating element, thermostat/thermistor or printed circuit board with power OFF.
