Your maps are either outdated or have become corrupted. Your best bet would be to update the unit. The new updates will correct your problem as well as give you the neat new item that allows the unit to actually tell you what street/road/freeway you are on. For example "Turn right on Division Street in one quarter mile off of Clinton" and it will also use a "ticker" at the top so a person can read the same directions. You should also check the other options as you can change your icon from a car to a boat to a semi to an eagle to a turkey(leg) to a herse to a jogger to even a snow shovel or a kid on an inner tube.
