Question about Mitel 5212 IP Phone
I don't know what I did, but I accidentally logged out of my account on the phone (Mitel 5212 IP Phone), and now I can't make calls. I need to log back in so I can have my extension number appear on the small screen and therefore make calls, but I am also new to the company so don't exactly know what I'm doing.

Hi this is probably because the phone has gone to Hotdesk mode and your company blocks hotdesk phones from making external calls. You will need to log back into the phone. If you know your extention number you can press *96 on the phone you then need to enter your extention number and press # you then need to enter a pin number. If you do not know your oin or have not been given one try pressing # again if the phone reasks for the pin you will need to contact your systems administrator to reset your pin - Hope this helps (ps *97 loggs the phone out)
