Question about Computers & Internet
I got this mouse off my Fiancee's father and I brought it home to use it. Once I got home I put the USB part in and I couldn't connect it. I searched many sites and tried many things, but non of these site or searches had my mouse on there. Here is all the information on the bottom of the mouse: GE 98574 Ergonomic Wireless Mini Mouse Rating:DC 3V 100mA FCC ID: NIYMWP141-P1M This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules For Home Or Office Use WK2910 MADE IN CHINA

SOURCE: i have a ge 98563
I have had no problems with my compaq laptop and the mini mouse. It recognized it even after OS downgrade to XP. The reset buttons on the mouse and the transceiver need to be activated or reset when sitting idle for a while. Once you get them both "blinking" it works great. Good mouse for the price... Your laptop should recognize it. Just check the reset and make sure the lites are on and communicating.
