1992 426b hydraulics work fine except for left n right swing on boom. the swing speed is slow n weak, engine speed will not change swing speed on boom

Is there an interlock on the boom that wont allow it to operate if the front blade is not set? There could be an issue with hydraulic fluid, pump or PTO.

Been sometime since I worked on hydraulics. But isn't the swing(or any action) controlled by how far you move the handle? Hydraulic handle? If that's your case the the block at the handle has a stuck valve. If yours is electronic Then it is a bad servo switch or stuck valve/ solenoid at the block for the swing.

Reconditioned my k9k motor,diesel,does not want to start,just swings


Swings is a word I have not heard applied to engines since the days of the cranking handle. I assume you mean the engine cranks but will not start?

I am not familiar with your particular engine but it is sometimes problematic starting a freshly assembled engine that has been partly reconditioned. Fully reconditioned engines that have been built rather than merely assembled usually present few problems because everything is new and correctly adjusted.
The word "reconditioned" means many different things to different people...

A newly-built engine is often down on compression and a diesel needs good compression. It also needs a good cranking speed. If the engine is an indirect injection engine it is necessary to have an efficient set of heater plugs or to provide copious amounts of hot air into the intake. This helps with direct injection types but isn't absolutely necessary. Careful manipulation of an ether spray at the right time can be great help when starting the latter type of engine for the first time.

By far the biggest problem is bleeding the fuel system. Even when a good supply of air-free fuel is reaching the injectors it can take a considerable amount of cranking before a reliable injection is achieved and the engine begins to fire. This time is shorter with common-rail diesels and a great deal longer when fitted with a hydraulically governed DPA type injection pump.

A starter motor should not be operated for more than 10 seconds and then rested for around 10 seconds. This avoids over-taxing the starter and the battery and connections...
If it really won't start I suggest you revisit the valve clearances, valve and fuel timing and compressions.

In the case of hydraulic valve lifters, I prefer to fit them unprimed and find them a lot less trouble that way. If I am refitting used valve lifters I ensure they are emptied before reassembly to avoid one or more of them holding a valve from it's seat and reducing compression. Another possible trouble is tappet-jacking. With new bearings and oil pump the oil pressure can be high even at cranking speeds. If the valve springs are weak the oil pressure can cause the hydraulic lifters to open the valves a little.

Hydraulic system mulfunction


you may have to get specialist hydraulics for this. ON most boom and cylinder systems there is a flow control valve on the bottom side of the cylinder to stop uncontrolled fall in the event of hose failure. If the flow rate is too high the valve closes off and locks the ram in the position that the hose failed in. To unlock it you have to extend the ram in question and lower it slowly. Bent rams will also cause the fault as there is normally no downward hydraulic action as the ram moving back in relies on weight so any bent /jamming bush will not result in a ram return or slow ram return

My excavator hitachi ex200-1 weak swing and when you swing then stop vibration begin on turn table when i stop to swing,and when i swing and lift cylinder raise,vibration on the turn table will contin


Not sure would need to have a good look ,but i suspect a safety valve isnt closing properly causing thumping within the hydraulic system which is the vibration you can feel,shouldnt cost a lot to repair providing the faulty valve can be located so return to the dealer as they will have a good idea as yours isnt the first to go wrong iam sure

The shutter speeds on my Horizon Perfekt do not change when i adjust the dial.


The shutter speed is controlled by the width of the slit exposing the film. So, the lens will swing at the same speed when set at 1/500 or 1/60 (White setting), therefore it appears on the outside that the shutter speed has not changed. The swing has only 2 speeds, White fast, Yellow slow, selected by the switch on the left beside the rewind knob.

To confirm that the width of the slit is changing (actual shutter speed), open the back and fire the shutter on Yellow 2 (half second), you will see the slit is fully open as the lens swings. Next try Yellow 8, you will see the slit is less than half open, so it exposes the film for a shorter time by having a narrower slit , not faster swing.

This is the same principle in many cameras with curtain shutter.

My radio speakers will not work except on the drivers font left hand side. I do have some sound on the drivers right side but you can just hear it


Check the weak speaker for water damage--replace if so. Repair the source of the water leak. Tap the speaker back side with a knuckle--if good, it will make a booming sound. If damaged, it won't make any sound except for your knuckle. Hope this helps!
