Rangemaster 110 gas cooker - RH Oven lights but doesn't heat up

I have a Rangemaster 110 gas cooker. Everything works perfectly on it apart from the right hand oven i.e. the large non timed oven with the draw underneath. The gas lights ok with no problem, but it doesn't matter where you turn the control knob to, the flame remains small and the heat doesn't get above a 'keeping warm level'. I don't think the jets are blocked because the gas lights straight away and are lit all the way across the burner. It looks like there is some sort of thermostat or temperature sensor that lies across the left hand side of the flame. Could this be gone? Or is it likely to be something else?

Its going to be the fsd gone if the burner lights all the way across, the type of control sparky is on about hasnt been used on domestic uk cookers for around 30-40 years., as its a gas passing part, unless you are gas competent you will have to call in a pro.

Will the flame go out if you turn the control knob to the off position?

Sometimes gas cooking control knobs have two seperate types of control in the one knob. One control turn the gas on or off, one adjusts the variable quantity of gas allowed through a gap to your flame jets. Some control knobs can get gummed up and stick a little. The can be fixed by carefully taking apart the control knob, taking note of EXACTLY how everything goes back together and cleaning any gummed up bits. Then reassemble the knob and drizzle soapy water over the control to test for leaks. A leaky gas join blows bubbles and makes noise. Let me know if this fixes the problem.

I have the same problem, I use a plumbers blow torch and heat the flame sensor up (keep the control knob on position 9) after a few seconds the full flame comes on.
Been doing for the last few years.

the part that you need is the oven ignitor, located nest to the oven burner. that part gets hot to open the gas to the burner, that will make the oven work again.

Rangemaster 110

Hope this helps with your dual fuel version 3 weeks on and working perfectly! Rangemaster 110. Ovens not lighting due to faulty auto/clock. FIXED! Our clock /timer kept flashing and would not reset
Someone, somewhere on the internet had the solution to my problem but I can't find the link again to thank them! If you don't mind losing the clock/timer auto function this is for you and it's free! Just takes a bit of time.
Basically you need to lift/open up the LH &RH hobs to get at the wires behind the clock. You should see 2 blue(neutral) wires coming directly from the back of the clock. Pull them out and connect together - should be easy to click them together. Then the ovens will light - but you will lose the auto/clock/timer functions. We only used the timer so not a big issue. We didn't take the control panel off but we did take ages to unscrew the hobs etc Probably took us about 2 hours going back to instruction manual we found on internet and trying to work it out but I think we've saved a lot in not replacing the unit with the usual call out charges. We made sure electrical supply was switched off and just took our time. Really chuffed!

This should allow you to see the instruction manual for the 110. There was another one somewhere showing a diagram of how to link the 2 blue wires at the back of the clock but I can't find it again! By the way our cooker is 10 years old so maybe different from newer models. We didn't have to take of the front control panel we accessed everything by lifting up the hobs to get behind the clock/timer.

Hope this helps! Ovens still working just got to go and buy a wee timer.
