Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Blue screen on technics kn2000 pcm keyboard all else works

IF the normal screen had a blue background, POSSIBLY the contrast setting got moved to the end of range making the characters invisible.

The contrast control MAY be called several names including CONTRAST, VIEWING ANGLE, etc... Refer to your user manual.

Find the "factory reset" procedure and execute it...

For SOME of the Technics units it is as follows:

It can be reverted to the original factory preset very easily. Simply press MEM&CTRL button, then select Initial from the LCD menu then followed by Total Organ

Also there may be a memory battery in the unit that is depleted that needs changing if you find settings are lost when power is removed.

Our keyboard has a VERY LOUD humming noise, will not stop with any keys we push. it is a double level keys and many added features. it is a Technics Pcm sound EX3ol

Likely you are using the wrong or defective power supply. Something in the filtering has failed.

If this uses an external adapter power supply, verify it is the EXACT one for the unit.

If there is just a cord to plug in, the unit will have to be serviced.

The parts should not be very expensive if it is an internal problem.
