you have it set in RAM mode, which is it is being operated as a extra hard drive. you will need a optional software/driver package (if your pc/laptop) don't have it already, in order to set it back to cd/dvd mode. incidently, that software/driver is hard to come by.
Check for the cables, also check for the IDE Master Slave setting and try settting the drive to primary IDE socket. Re installing drivers might also help.

Just bought a new computer and was trying out the burner. I had no problem burning on to the disc. I went to "Labelflash" on the Template I designed with the software that was provided and an error message pops up with "No disk or unsupported media present" . I think cd drive is trying to read the disc when I put it in upside down??? Please Help
